[But will your remember what he says 30 seconds after he leaves the noches?]
Cue the vinyl! Al BeSure, "Night and Day"
Or, anything by Otis Day and the Knights
Your spelling is a "colossal" POS, DUmmie. Bend over and take another load where the sun don't shine.
I have this mental image of a DUmmie yelling the F-word to the cadence of the “nananana”s in the 60s “Batman” TV theme.
When I got up at 6:30 it was a mixture of snow and ice. And it's continued that way until now. Now it's snowing HARD! Probably 3-4" on the ground so far but it's crunchy to walk on (just ask our German Shorthair). We're supposed to get 6-9" altogether. Julie has the store in DeKalb staffed with people living nearby so she's staying home today.
I'll let you know more later after I return from ringing the Salvation Army bell from noon-1 pm in front of our grocery. Did it last Friday in front of Wal-Mart but that was a fairly nice day.
Tuesday night, our Golden K club participated in the annual CAN (Children's Action Network) Needy Children's Christmas program. We volunteer to take children to Wal-Mart to buy essentials such as clothing. We meet the families at the Methodist Church's hall, and take the kids to WM while the parents enjoy cookies and such. I had 3 young Hispanic children, an 8 yo daughter and two younger brothers. Each kid got a $75 Wal-Mart gift card to cover the cost. Anyway, this was in the midst of Tuesday's 4" snowstorm. We finished shopping and I had to get the ice off the windshield and wipers before I could return to the hall. Working on the driver's wiper, the thing came off in my hand. I spent 5 minutes in the dark getting frustrated, trying to get it back on. Once back in the car, the oldest boy shouts "Hey Jim, shopping was FUN!. Thanks a lot!!". Then when we're walking into the hall he says "Boy! I shopped 'till I dropped!" I couldn't stop laughing. Windshield wiper? What windshield wiper?
Oh, and we noted at our breakfast meeting yesterday that our contributions to CAN, along with those from other organizations and businesses, provided 200 gift cards at $75 each. Not bad for a small town. I'll tell ya, doing something like that is the greatest present of all...
Remember over 70% of blacks in California voted for Prop 8.
What a great story, bcsco, and what a great idea! Thanks!
I know the small town Baptist Graham/Warren keepers near me are majority democrat voters.... and none of them plan on getting left behind. And I am not talking just about rural hicks but lawyers, doctors, school board members, and teachers, etc.... The place to go to church if one wants to be connected. Although their first preference was Hillary. Remember that anointing that Billy Graham gave Hillary on his come to Jesus tour in New York City.
They in majority despise President Bush.
You are an evil, greedy, hate mongering, conservative!
A good, tolerant liberal would demand a government program to relieve you of your evil activities.

(God Bless you! If not for folks like you, this nation would fall apart....even faster.)
Don’t thank me. Go join a Kiwanis organization in your town. With programs like Bringing Up Grades, Terrific Kids, Builders Club, Key Club and others, we do make a difference. Kiwanis also makes it easy for businesses to participate. Businesses can join a local club, appointing one or more of their employees to represent them. Or, Businesses can set up their own internal Kiwanis organization. Also, if individuals have issues with where and when clubs meet, or see the need for other programs that aren’t being pushed, they can join and become a “satellite” of the club with their own meetings, etc. Kiwanis wants to make it easy to join as well as meaningful.

In reply, I’ll direct you to my post #29 shortly after yours...
I feel sooooo swaddled in peace, tolerance, and love.
Let’s be fair. Rick Warren gets beaten up almost as badly here on FR (see any reference to him in the religion section), with out the foul language, of course.
What a great story! Thanks for sharing as it really set my day off in the right way! :)
>>This OP is dead serious about Rick f*cking Warren and Obama’s bad f*cking decision. I’m bitter that Jeebus gets any representation at all at the inaugural - WTF did a corpse of 2000+ years have to do with anything? But I guess somebody has to be there to placate the religion-stupids. Imagine an inauguration with no prayer! The HORROR! <<
These are seriously scary people.
We are? I guess I missed that thread.
It's astonishing how much the DUmmies cry and whine if they don't get EVERYTHING their way. I'm actually starting to like Obama a little bit, if he can get the DUmmies to behave so hysterically FUnnie.
Our ice storm is coming this weekend.
We got six inches of snow in Seattle yesterday.
What's really strange is how liberals can keep two diametrically opposing thoughts in their heads at one time. Everyone who believes in a religion (especially Christianity) is so incredible stupid. Obama has said that he is a Christian and has Warren giving a sermon but anyone who would call Obama stupid is an ignorant racist.
This is all a bunch of yammering. It doesn't matter what Obama does, they will still vote for him next election and everyone knows it.
This kind of weather always reminds me of that evening in 1993 when WILX-TV’s weather guru Andy Provenzano said to his news anchor...
I can promise you at least six inches tonight.
LOL! Oh, my.
