Obama produced a COLB, it has his name, date of birth, and location of birth (Honolulu), that is all that is required to establish natural born citizenship. I fail to see why on earth he needs to produce BC.
Unless there is some really solid evidence to point to a Kenyan birth, the issue remains a tin foil hat internet conspiracy.

Whoever made this statement is incorrect. Years ago they used to put the foot print on the Hospital Certificate for a souvenier for the parent.
My grandchildren were born in the 90's and I was surprised to learn they no longer gave you a Hospital Certificate with a foot print. We had to go home and get an ink pad and do it ourselves if we wanted a footprint. I have yet to see an Official Certificate of Live Birth with a footprint on it.

The first image is a copy of the Certification of Live Birth document which has been repeatedly “published” on a number of web sites as the Official version of Obama’s birth records from the State of Hawaii.
According to this document his full and legal proper name at birth is Barack Hussein Obama II. Also note that there is no actual place of birth (hospital, plantation, farm, pine apple field, log cabin, manger, etc.) shown in this document.
It has been reported in the national press that President elect Obama is going to be sworn in using the name Barack Hussein Obama.
I am sure that Chief Justice Roberts, before he swears in Obama as President of the United States, will personally review “sua sponte”, or on the judge’s' own initiative, an actual vaulted copy of the original long form of Obama's birthing records which the State of Hawaii, Director of Health, Chiyome Fukino, MD has publicly announced that she has on file. /s/off
It would be shame for the Chief Justice Roberts of the United States on his first try to go down in history as the first Chief Justice to incorrectly swear in a new President of the United States by not using his full and correct legal name at birth even if he was not born in this country.
As a point of comparison please note the second image in this post. This is what a genuine Certified Copy of a Certificate of Live Birth (some data redacted) issued by the State of Hawaii, Department of Health in July 1962 for the Birth of a male child in February 1962 on the Island of Oahu looks like. Note in this document the State of Hawaii, Department of Health official embossed seal and official signatures of the then Director of Health, Leo Bernstein, MD and the then Registrar General, Charles G. Bennett. The State of Hawaii officials' signatures and the date the document was issued are underlined in red. This document is a photographic copied image. It is a black background document with white letters which clearly were created by a 1962 typewriter.
Other copies of this long form of a Certificate of Live Birth, which have a green background and show a date of birth in 1963, have been published on different web sites. These images are based on a Certificate of Live Birth which would have been created at a hospital but had not yet received and processed by State of Hawaii, Department of Health. A document similar to this second image is what most of the lawsuits about the record of birth of Obama are asking to be released for public viewing. Of course the United State Supreme Court, all nine members, is refusing to see and review a similar document for Barack Hussein Obama II.
The Hawaiian officials complete public statement clearly made no references to the key data to be found in #6 boxes and well as the supporting data as in the #7 boxes in the first image. Box #16 (New Hampshire) shows the birth place of the mother. Box#15 shows the age of mother. Box#14 shows the race of mother. Box #11 (Pennsylvania) shows the birth place of the father. Box #10 shows the age of father. Box #9 shows the race of father. (In the modern secular world this person would also be known as the sperm donor.)
Box #18a (NewEnglander) shows the signature of the Parent or Other Informant who states that “I certify that the above stated information is true and correct to the best of my knowledge”. This person is effectively signing for the right to name the new born. Box #18b shows the date of this signature. There are no hand print or foot print boxes on a Certificate of Live Birth document created by hospital personnel in Hawaii in the year 1962.
Also please note that in the first image no Department of Health official embossed seal, which should be raised and embedded in the paper, is to be found on this (official) document. See the second image raised embossed seal as a point of comparison.
