There has always been a desire to maintain credibility and integrity on Free Republic. That is eroding with each new, Obama, birth certificate story. Many of those creating this ruckus claim are flying a false flag of Constitutionality when it is actually an effort to paint all Conservatives with the broad brush of conspiratorialism of the most dangerous kind. Thank you.

I have understood the threat of islam since the Carter handed Iran over to the Ayatollah, probably before that. I actually still believe OKC was islamic, not home-grown.
Yeah, people don’t come here and become Conservatives. They come here because they are Conservatives. This birth certificate situation is like a guy who loses 75 cents in a vending machine and turns down a case of candy bars because the company won’t give him his 75 cents.
You don’t get into the niceties of ship-building when you’re sinking. You grab a bucket and get to work. You will sit here and jerk around with minutiae when the big stuff is coming over the horizon.
What in God’s name does it take for you people to wake up and understand, being Conservative is harder than being black. We have to work 3x as much to get a responsible message out.
Perfect example is the Prop 8 vote. In the time people were pussy-footing around with the Michelle African Press and the birth certificate we could have worked with a natural conservative constituency in the Hispanic community we may have held Florida. We could have had a shot in North Carolina, Nevada, Colorado. Too damn busy fighting over crumbs to try and sit at the table.

(Big Grin!!) You obviously had talent! Me, I had to test-drive for a while. And like you, it has been good for my soul, too.
I loved it. It was one of the last movies that had a political message, but still at least tried to make a decent movie. These days they just pound you over the head with ‘the message’. It’s like going to church just without the moral message.
You need to learn to "walk that dog"...a fun lure to fling.
