Leo Denofrio notes that the Court today issued a Miscellaneous Order granting certiorari on at least two cases: Al-Marri v. Pucciarelli and Gross v. FBL Financial Services, Inc. He thinks this is a bad sign, but notes that the full list will be out on Monday.

I can tell you for a certainty that California electors have been served.
So? I do, and so should everyone who's ever taken the oath to 'Support and Defend'. At least those who meant it when they took it.
She is, so is Caroline Bouvier Kennedy Schlossberg or any other Natural Born Citizen, 35 or over who has resided in the US for 14 years. You don't have to have run. They can vote for any person eligible.
But I read that Caroline is up to replace She Who Must Be Obeyed as junior Senator from New York, assuming she actually resigns from the Senate, which I understand that she, unlike BHO, has not done yet.

Although I would gladly forgive them if they sent notarized copies of there evidence to all the electors, and to each court where a challenge case has been filed. As amicus to make that official.
Oh, and is this COLB, the "Certificate" or "Certification", not that it matters so much, if he was not born in the US.

I stand corrected
I was told several governors are in on the act, and apparently the Secretaries of State for these states have to be on board. That apparently has taken time and some coordination. Their investigation had many barriers put in the way, and red herrings so that they would not find the truth until after the inauguration. But they have it now. And the truth of his birth outside the USA will come out, or so I have been told.
We will just have to wait. Things are moving in the background, as Obama occupies the media with his extended campaign from the " Orifice of the President Erect".Which has a lot of politicians REALLY ticked off BTW. It has motivated them to REALLY get rolling on this.
They likely won't be going to Scotus. The respective Secretaries of State will be ordering their electors to not attend the electoral college to vote. Scotus may have an application of Cert. Pet.from the Electoral College itself.

***That is one of the split-the-baby scenarios that I’ve been postulating might arise from a supreme court decision. It’s like a judge giving instructions to a jury — the supremes might give instructions to the EC’s that it is demonstrated Mr. Obama “may” not meet the eligibility requirements under the constitution. In this way the supremes get to say they did their job, and if Obama still gets elected (very highly likely) they’ll say the EC’s didn’t do their job. Since there is no constitutional provision for the EC’s not doing their job properly, Obama will be president.
Well today I joined the exodus to a local gun shop in anticipation of possible future restrictions on firearms and ammunition. They cannot keep autoloading rifles on the shelves. The makers have their production sold out even before they are finished making them!
I have a fair collection of arms, but I have never purchased a modern autoloading rifle, so I laid down some shekels for a High Standard HSA-15 FLAT TOP CARBINE HSTX6551, bought all the fixins to go with it.Its an AR-15 Carbine clone.
I could NOT believe how busy the shop was. They had sold over 20 AR-15 clones in the last week, and after I got mine,only had 2 x .223s left. one a target rifle.
So the brothers and sisters are doing just what you say. There is no retail down turn in the domestic arms industry right now. But have you read about that in the MSM? LOL.
One clerk at the store kept saying "Thankyou Obama!" and laughing about it ( Christmas bonus time!).

The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;
The governor certifies the list of valid electors and sends " Certificates of Ascertainment to the Archivist of the United States, who after checking to see that they are legally sufficient, passes copies to the House and Senate. The rest are attached to the lists of votes from the electors in each state.

Well, I hope those Governors and Secretaries of State get a move on, the electors are scheduled to vote a week from Monday, but the Certificates of Ascertainment have to be in by next Tuesday, and that date would seem to be a good "firebreak"
There really is no entity as "The electoral college" there are electors, who are *state* elected (but they could be appointed if the states so chose) officials with very short terms and one function.
I choose freedom.
We will be tested, for many of us would give uo freedom for the sake of convenience, and I do not believe most of us will be found wanting either Kevmo, regardless of our racial or ethnic backgrounds. In that we are united as a people.
So that helps me keep a sense of humor about all this.
