Perhaps one can sense now why Barack Obama chose constitutional law as his personal field of specialization. It is becoming increasingly clear that Mr. Obama has known all along that he is constitutionally ineligible for President of The United States but has nevertheless mounted an extremely successful campaign which threatens an end run around the Constitution and has brought him nearly to the U.S. Presidency.

Just like FDR the weak link between the Commusiah and total power is the Supreme court. What better way to usurp its power than to force it to overturn a national election. I would not be surprised if that was Zeros plan from the start.

“It is my belief that Donofrios case will probably not be heard because the whole issue is, as one of my legal friends in England called it a poisoned chalice. The Justices can follow the Law and risk calumny and civil disorder, or ignore the plain Common Law reading of the Constitution and risk usurpation and civil disorder.”
There you have it, the end is near..............

I think the original post meant to say “roll over FOR him”. After initially blocking a number of FDR plans on constitutional grounds, FDR threatened to pack the court by expanding its numbers. The court rolled over for him, and stopped blocking his New Deal plans.

I believe the USSC Judges will be intimidated into supporting the lessor impact of the two evils on lives and property damage and that being for their support of Obama’s usurped inauguration.
I’m beginning to believe Obama’s mentor the Rev.Jeremiah Wright’s wish may be coming true...........”GD America!”
God Bless us, we have perilous times ahead and I’m afraid of the outcome. Wake up America, we’ve welcomed the mongrels into our communities and now they have taken over.I have met the enemy..........

Definitely.....not many people, other than Lincoln, would have the bravery to do what’s right even though there will be MUCH DESTRUCTION. We don’t have many people like that anymore.

Such a move would strike at the heart of the US and ridicule or reprove us.
Interesting to think about who would do such a thing to this nation.

Do you have any concern that if they choose to disobey the Constitution out of fear of the mob not only the Rule of Law, but the entire basis of the American Experiment is destroyed?
To: AmericanVictory
Absolutely!! I’m just telling you that people take the EASIEST WAY OUT of a problem.

I was thinking about all this and wondering why are we suddenly being invaded by foreigners on the ballot? It can't be because we have no Americans willing to serve.
My question is why these foreign born persons (definitely Calero, Obama and this article states Richardson) have, to quote Obama, “the AUDACITY” to run for president of a country they don't belong to?
Is this being done in other countries like England, Australia, France, Germany, Nicaragua, etc.? Can an American run for the highest office in their lands? I mean why is this happening now?
To: Ann Archy
Well, we were very fortunate at the founding that they did not. But I fear you are correct and that there is a strong possibility that those now in high office will.
To: this is my country
I was thinking about all this and wondering why are we suddenly being invaded by foreigners on the ballot? It can't be because we have no Americans willing to serve.
Someone in another thread mentioned some other U.S. Presidents who had one or more foreign-born parents (were these Presidents "natural born" under Article II of the Constitution?). Chester Arthur (father was an Irish immigrant) was one. I don't know who the others were, but there were several.
The definition of "natural born" has been vaguely defined and apparently erratically enforced over the years.
In technology this would be called "feature creep" and unfortunately we seem to be seeing the Constitutional equivalent of that.
Someone else (maybe this was here, or over at one of the BC threads at http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com) said something about how travel between countries was much slower in the time of the Founding Fathers, so it was therefore more difficult to establish oneself politically in this country if one was an immigrant. The era of modern travel (steamship and air travel) has accelerated immigration. Did those Presidents with foreign-born parents come from that era and beyond it?
I'd mentioned also that in 1988 Michael Dukakis (son of Greek immigrants) was the Democrat candidate for President, and his "natural born" status (as the son of immigrants) apparently (from what I can recall) was not an issue raised during that campaign. At any rate it was a moot issue, since he lost.
Recently Gov. Bobby Jindal, son of Indian immigrants, was mentioned as a possible Presidential candidate.
The whole issue of what "natural born" means has not been very well-defined either in our educational system or in practice. What we are seeing right now is the result of that vagueness, spurred on by teachings about "diversity."
Just my opinion.
