I don't know when this aired, probably last night. If she ever goes on one of the late night shows, this is the one she should choose. She was on it before she was nominated for VP and Ferguson would treat her with respect.

I like Craig. Of course he is trying to be funny and will go for the joke. He was proud of the fact that he was one of the first to have her “on” the show via video where she congratulates him on being a U.S. citizen - perhaps on July 4th. (He then talks about her reminding her of a “sexy librarian”.)

I just happened to watch the show where he showed the tapes from the citizenship oath, etc. He was very serious in his love for this country and why he wanted to become a citizen(along with the jokes). But it was after that that I’ve tried to make an effort to watch him more.

Whether he deserves my “respect” or not - I don’t know.

Yes - and when Sarah said something about him coming up and having a “succulent” crab dinner he replays the video a bunch of times and slows it way down so ssuuucccuuulllleeennntttt comes out real sexy and all.

Either right afterwards, or perhaps the next night, in view of the “fairness doctrine” he replays some boring speech of Biden’s and plays one of Biden’s boring words real slow. Didn’t have quite the same affect!

This was on last night — Tuesday. I am/was a big fan of Craig Ferguson — am watching him right now, and agree he would probably treat her with respect. But I don’t like all the Palin jokes he’s been telling lately. So I wrote his show and told him. The show is owned by David Letterman, who hates Palin, so he’s probably being told to do it. But Ferguson said Sarah Palin wanted to be on the show last year after her videotaped appearance, and he turned her down. Then he said he tried to get after she was nominated for V.P. and she turned him down.

Living in Hollywood, one of my neighbors works for the Drew Carey staff since..the Drew Carey show. I heard some hilarious off set stuff that shouldn;t be printed but here’s some tidbits about Craig...Craig Ferguson is known on the set as the anti-monarch Scot.

He hates the very idea of the “United Kingdom” and is so fiercely pro-Scottish independence, he’s known to show more hatred for the monarchy than a lib on Bush. That’s the reason why he loves the American holiday called “Independence Day” which we Americans take for granted. Craig is known to invite his cast-mates every 4th of July to go out and celebrate the festivities with more emotion than the cast and crew. Sometimes he marvels at how Drew became a Marine and their political ideologies are very similar.
