Been here 10+ years with one name change 9 years ago. Hubby of 60+ years uses similar names just to raise my hackles. Works every time after all these years.
Well hells bells. Nice to meet such a long time freeper. I’m just a newbie at 5+ years (lurked since 99 tho)
Lol Nice to meet you too. “hells bells” is also something hubby would reply to my displeasure. Have a happy thanksgiving.

Stupid or not it's what's in the Constitution. As to it being put in by Jefferson to stymie Hamiliton, that doesn't make any sense, because the same exception that applied to Jefferson himself, who you'll recall did become President, also applied to Hamiliton, even though he was not born in one of the 13 colonies, he was born in a British colony (Nevis Island, formerly British West Indies)), later moved to New Jersey where he attended school. HE later attended including Kings College in New York (Now Columbia University), graduating with a bachelors. He had fought in the revolution, etc. He was a citizen of the US at the time the Constitution was ratified.
As far as Jefferson getting the provision in, Jefferson had little to do with the writing of the Constitution, being Ambassador to France at the time, and communications across the Atlantic being a tad slow at that time. The post before yours shows that it was John Jay that got the provision included, through Washington, who was President of the Constitutional Convention.
That only makes him officially President elect, and not even then really, since their votes are not counted until January when the President of the Senate opens the tabulations from the electors of the several states. Then he's officially President Elect. He doesn't become President, officially or otherwise, until noon on January 20th.
The ignorance of the Constitution by the blogger knows few bounds.
Well, at least she is a natural born citizen, (way) over 35 years of age, and has lived in the US for over 14 years (Just in Chappaqua, New York. and DC alone, let alone all those years in Little Rock).
The second statement is mere speculation, unsupported by any facts I'm aware of.

ROTFLMAO. I found that very funny.
Glad you enjoyed it. It was supposed to be funny, but that doesn't mean I didn't mean it seriously too.
Are you saying that Obama is a Muslim? If so, you're probably not aware that Muslims are actually more likely to attack their own than they are to attack us.
Too bad they didn’t attack their own on Sept 11 200l, isn’t it? In Geo Bush’s words, “You are either with us, or against us. “ Unfortunately, he can’t get the name “Radical Islam” out of his mouth.
Just makes my blood boil, watching him stand behind that podium saying “President Elect” and nobody calling him on it.
