I’m not the biggest Ann Coulter fan out there. I think she says things that are way out of line just for the controversy, and attention for selling books. However, when we learned that Teddy Kennedy had brain cancer we didn’t make jokes about it. It would have been easy to do, but we asked our readers to pray for him. This is what makes conservatives different than most liberals! We don’t celebrate the tragedies of others just because we don’t like them, with perhaps the exception of Fred Phelps and his cult where we might make an exception. However, the left are jubilant that Ann Coulter’s mouth has finally been shut!

When it comes to liberals suffering I try to wish them the best even though they are incapable of doing the same for us.

I agree. I am always impressed with the level of compassion and dignity FReepers show towards people who have suffered misfortune, even if they are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. It is their spirituality that transcends the not so petty differences that always impresses me when i read through such threads here.
Obviously, the same can’t be said about those who have disdain for God and His flock.

Yep, her jaw might be wired shut, but her keyboard fingers are not. For those of who love to read Ann, this could be a godsend. ;-)

No one. The author was mentioning Phelps as someone conservatives dislike enough to maybe be happy when misfortune befalls him.
