The question of whether Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya thus disqualifying him to run as a presidential candidate will not go away. It is like the little mushrooms that appear every morning under the tree, they keep coming back. What should the President Elect do?
It is not fair to label those who want answers as racists, disillusioned right wingers, conspiracy nuts or any other convenient appellation thereby asking them to simply shut up. Lawsuits filed to require that an official vault document be produced have come from African Americans, democrats and a host of constitutionally concerned citizens.

The matter is settled by being born to an American citizen. It doesn’t matter if either was born in the Canal Zone, in Kenya, or on Mars.
Are you saying that all the discussion about his mother’s not having lived in the U.S. at the right time for enough consecutive years is not a true legal requirement?
If the stunning claim that Malcolm X was his father is true, then Obama’s in like flint - a Yankee Doodle Dandy. Blood test of Obama’s half siblings, Malcolm X’s children, etc could likely help. Fat chance that anyone involved would agree to that.

No problem. At first I thought this was up there with UFO sightings. But the more I have read, the more I’m going, “Hey! Wait a minute! This is a valid request. Why WON’T you show your birth certificate?” And even the one he put on his website looked computer generated to my untrained eye. And I still don’t know anyone who says “African” as a “race” on an official document. Maybe they do, I don’t know. But I doubt they would have in 1961. And if the computer generated COLB is just a representative of his birth certificate, nothing should have changed.
Not in his case. Here is the law:
Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock: A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) INA provided the citizen parent was physically present in the U.S. for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child's birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen are required for physical presence in the U.S. to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.
She did not live in the US for 5 years after the age of 14 before he was born. If he was born overseas, not only would he not have "natural born" citizenship, he would not have US citizenship.
1. It's totally made up imaginary speculation.
2. Malcolm X was married in 1958. There is no evidence that he was not entirely loyal to his wife and he appears to have viewed this as a matter of morality.
3. It's not plausible that a leader of a black Muslim separatist organization could have been having an affair with a white woman without anyone else knowing about it.
4. The reason for Malcolm X's assassination was his exposure of the extra-marital affairs of Elijah Muhammad. He would not have been able to speak out about Muhammad's hypocrisy if he was guilty in this area himself.
As they say, it’s not always the crime that gets ‘em, it’s the cover-up. This guy is hiding something, whether it is his place of birth, real father’s name, or that he not only has Hussein in his name but also Muhammed...who knows. But to withhold this simple document is the act of a guilty person.

Hasslebeck said something about a law that was passed that created the office of the president -elect..i dont remember the details..so it may not be a made up office
They are talking about the 2000 Lieberman bill that authorized money to be spent on the transition between Presidents.
But even if that were the case, he ISN’T President Elect until the electoral collage meets.
