The question of whether Barack Obama was actually born in Kenya thus disqualifying him to run as a presidential candidate will not go away. It is like the little mushrooms that appear every morning under the tree, they keep coming back. What should the President Elect do?
It is not fair to label those who want answers as racists, disillusioned right wingers, conspiracy nuts or any other convenient appellation thereby asking them to simply shut up. Lawsuits filed to require that an official vault document be produced have come from African Americans, democrats and a host of constitutionally concerned citizens.

Aside from that, the writer is correct, IF there's a legitimate Hawaii birth certificate to be shown. Perhaps it's not being released because it doesn't exist.
On the other hand, perhaps Obama's resistance is pure ego: "You can't make me!" like a 3-year-old. So encouraging to see such maturity in one's elected officials ...
Especially when the suit against McCain on the same grounds was found to have standing and dismissed when the candidate produced the document.
There was no suit, and the matter has not been settled. There was a Senate Resolution, 511, that had several errors. It failed. Nothing else, to my knowledge.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup said McCain’s birth in the Panama Canal Zone made him a citizen under the relevant statutes, Legal Times reports. “Plaintiff has not demonstrated the likelihood of success on the merits necessary to warrant the drastic remedy he seeks," Alsup wrote."
Is is conceivable that this teen, a star-struck Marxist groupie, with or without her Marxist parents’ consent on the certificate of live birth “Malcolm Little?” in the space for “father”? Maybe the left the space blank. Malcolm X travelled widely, including the West Coast and she could easily have travelled a few hundreds miles to seee him. Malcolm X’s twin daughters, born nine months after Malcolm X’s assassination were named Malaak and Malikah, clearly after their father’s name. Is is a coincidence that Obama choices the same name for own first born?

The matter is settled by being born to an American citizen. It doesn’t matter if either was born in the Canal Zone, in Kenya, or on Mars.
There apparently IS a birth certificate, Hawaii has verified there IS one (which Obamabots falsely claim confirms “he was born here”). What it is says is another story. Especially since Hawaii has a rare statute that allows a person to file for a birth certificate for a child born outside of Hawaii upon their return as long as they were a resident for at least a year preceding the birth. As Barack’s mother was...

What about obama being borned fourteen day before his mother received her papers to be legal?
