First and foremost, I need to offer up a confession. The last time I spit out my bowl game predictions - they stunk. Those things reeked worse than LSU's and Texas Tech's defense combined. Bad. Awful. Sorry, even.
But... the past is the past. THIS time, I think I got it right. (And I don't have any teams playing in more than one bowl!)
So... without further ado... my updated bowl game projections for games played through November 22, 2008.

Sorry if the above is difficult to read. Does Freep have an “edit” function? I need to insert some breaks in between the bowl predictions.
Well, Roll Tide, Roll.
Florida may be in for a little surprise.
Or maybe not.
<p> drops down two lines (paragraph)
OU is the best team in the country—last night, anyway.
Yeah, I know HTML, but is there a way to edit a post after you’ve posted it?
That Dude is way wrong about Missouri.
Big 12 champ receives automatic bid to the Fiesta bowl. Can’t be Texas. Could be Ok, but that assumes Ok Beats Missouri in the Big 12 Championship. But we don’t even know who the Big 12 South champ is yet.
A win By Missouri puts them in the top 10 easily.
I pray you are right!!!!
Roll Tide Roll from Texas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We scored five more points than they did. (so it was against The Citadel)

I think FSU will win the ACC (somebody has to).
I don’t understand, I thought Boise State gets an at-large bid in the BCS by virtue of being ranked in the top 12 (unless he’s assuming they’ll lose to Fresno State)? In any case, at least 2 very good big-six conference teams will be left out in the cold. The ultimate BCS-buster: Florida loses to FSU then beats Alabama; Oklahoma loses to OSU and Missouri beats Texas. Will it end the BCS system though? No, because corporate sponsorship trumps all.
I photographed Oklahoma this year, and their O-Line is HUGE.
Utah’s win over BYU basically ended Boise St.’s chances I think.
The way I understand it only one at large team will get a BSC bid and that will be Utah because they are ranked ahead of Boise because of a slightly stronger strength of schedule.
I take it that my dad’s Golden Gophers are shut out again this year. They were pretty good when he went there (in the 1930’s).
Missouri is still in the hunt, but like you said, they will have to win out and win the the Big 12 championship against (probably) Oklahoma. That won’t be easy. If they don’t win the Big 12 championship, they won’t get in because Texas, Texas Tech, or Oklahoma will get the at-large bid (depending on who of that group wins the Big 12 title game).
I’ve seen Missouri projected for the Holiday Bowl elsewhere. The Tigers definitely still have a shot though.
Are the little guys Boston University?
Cincinnati?? Eh...
If conference mediocrity or "undefeated teams" = Bowl Invites, let's pit the truly mediocre (but streaking) Rutgers vs. Ball St. or Troy for an interesting game.
