“Well, what do you know? “We’ll put people back to work rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, modernizing schools that are failing our children, and building wind farms and solar panels, fuel-efficient cars and the alternative energy technologies that can free us from our dependence on foreign oil and keep our economy competitive in the years ahead,” he said.”

IS THIS FOR REAL? He really said this? This man truly thinks he is the new FDR!!

We aren’t in soup lines yet Odumba. I can’t imagine the guys who are used to getting in behind their desk are going to be real happy to be repaving roads.

His job program will run over 2 trillion dollars in new spending.

In order to get total control of our country they will attempt to take us from one crisis to another. Using each to demand more sacrifice then before. All the while stealing more of our freedoms.

People dependent on the government for money to feed their children during the hard times to come will be like sheep.

NPR has busted him lately for three things: The prerecorded weekly address, the fact that established programs such as Meals on Wheels could be negatively affected by too many new government programs, and this.

The bloom is off the rose.

“Economist Lakshman Achuthan agrees that government-funded job creation alone won't solve the problem. Atchuthan is director of the Economic Cycle Research Institute and as he sees it, there are two other elements needed: extending jobless benefits, which Congress just did, and some sort of direct economic stimulus. / “Rebate checks or food stamps or payroll tax holidays or tax breaks for specific businesses — whatever,” he said. “The content is less important than the timing.””
I guess to Liberals all wealth belongs to the government and all good flows from the government. If a private enterprise bakery sells a loaf of bread for 1 dollar and makes a profit, the same loaf of bread through a government program would cost 8 dollars at the time it was delivered, and since it's being paid for with borrowed tax dollars, will take 40 to 50 years to pay for. It's not unreasonable to assume that interest would have to be paid on borrowed money, so at 5 percent, that 8 dollars would end up costing $97.00 in interest over 50 years. The actual figure would be staggeringly higher of course due to inflation and the necessary additional government employees needed to just account for it.

Obama does Nada without Congress . . . BHO is in the Executive Branch now, No Legislation from there, just signatures.

Wonder why he Resigned his Senate postion, where in the Next 2 months he could have “Written the Details” of his proposal and Submitted it for Congressional review. Duh ..does this Guy know how things work?

I heard his Proposal, as Usual, it was High level and no Details, just figures pulled out of the Air with no Backgound explanation.

News flash...BHO, the Minnesota Bridge collasped because of Bad Design, not “Wearing out” of the infrastructure. Are we going to Tear down perfectly good Bridges to create Jobs ? ?

i read something right after the election that biden would resign before the new senate was sworn in to give his replacement seniority in office selection and so on. seems like a game ...

in bambi’s case, he never worked anyway. now wouldn’t it be funny if the birth cert cases prevailed after all - he’d be a man without a job.

t is to late to even think of BOOBOO and his fraud COLB. Two many people in high positions would loss out! Thus you are going to start seeing the strange and sudden deaths of those investigating and having proof of this fraud pulled on the entire USA (those that voted for BOOBOO.

I believe it worked this way while a governor and through the presidency.

I really Liked the office desk suicide but body walked to a part bench while dead. Then there is the Berger case Only Berger,Willie, and the Beast know what is missing forever.

I am still waiting for my part of the $90,000 frozen clams or has he already been pardoned.

BooBoo change is that the USA is going to be a socialist country. I am ready and I want one half of all his family's wealth to start with, then Biden, then on down the line. Pelosa (sp?) is fifth in line to give up 1/2 her family total assets liquid and or fixed. I CANNOT WAIT TO GET IN THE FREE LINE OF SHARING THE CONGRESS WEALKTH.

I can’t imagine the guys who are used to getting in behind their desk are going to be real happy to be repaving roads.

I can't imagine our effete government actually making someone work. When someone says, "I'm tired, or my feet hurt," the whole program would come crashing down. The program will have to become, "Pave this road, if you want to, but if you don't, we'll pay you anyway."

That's before the public service unions jump into the fray. Then all hell will break loose.

Better yet,do you want to drive down the roads these losers would be working on?I`ve worked in construction and the days of building or rebuilding roads by hand labor went out in the 30`s.These days virtually everything is done by machine, from road grading or concrete pouring to milling and filling.Cool Hand Luke may be cool to watch but I guarantee you aren`t driving 65mph on chip and seal.

The Clintons were DLC. They at least knew the damage they could do if they pandered to their base too much. 0bama is completely clueless. That steaming pantload may be able to stir the idiot chattering class with his mindless, “flibberty jib” oratory, but I honestly believe the guy is flat stupid and ready to be led by the nose. It’s his handlers who worry me.
