Here are a few more details about Obama's plan, which had Joseph Farah scratching his head. First is Obama's quote.
"We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded."Now, since I've never heard anyone inside or out of government use the phrase "civilian national security force" before, I was more than a little curious about what he has in mind. . . .
What does it mean?
If we're going to create some kind of national police force as big, powerful and well-funded as our combined U.S. military forces, isn't this rather a big deal? . . .
Are we talking about creating a police state here?
The U.S. Army alone has nearly 500,000 troops. That doesn't count reserves or National Guard. In 2007, the U.S. Defense budget was $439 billion.
Obama also has some very radical notions about disarming the population as well.

Volunteer service is one thing compulsory service is another altogether. The men and women of our military volunteer to serve as do the men of the minutemen.
It’s a far cry from forcing people to “serve”. Adolph Hitler got his Autobahn built through compulsory service. Compulsory service is the happy face put on slavery.
More disturbing are his laments about the Constitution (being flawed - as if he is smarter than the Founding Fathers), particularly the part about how it basically gives all of the rights to the people and restricts the rights of government. Obama thinks it should be the other way around and even said so.
He intends to rule and not serve.
Our only hope is that the Obamunist will continue being the one who has a big mouth and grandiose ideas and can never actually do anything.
In fact, he never has.
He was President of the Harvard Law Review, and the only one in its history to never publish a single article.
Even his own wife was taped saying, "He hasn't done anything yet...", and even Obama has said it.
Chances are, he never will.

I do believe there are several million American gun owners who would prefer to go down swinging rather than kneel before a pagan god.

I don’t know, but I would be surprised if he would stoop so low as to visit our forum. He doesn’t take too kindly to the more socially conservative types.
Watch all those clowns sitting behind Barry as he speaks. They haven’t got a clue what he’s talking about, they’re just applauding to go along with the mob.
I don’t see Pelosi standing in the way I see her leading it. She and Reid are the kind of pol’s that are looking for every way possible to manipulate this empty suit and not let him get the upper hand. His very conventional cabinet choices make me think he’s not making his own decisions.
