Several posters have mentioned this over the past week, but I want to bring it up again. Governor Sarah Palin is under attack from both the right (faux right) and the left, blaming her for McCain's loss.

We all know the truth- few of us could ever have supported McCain without her.

Freepers, it is time to counter the attacks and encourage Governor Palin. Let's overwhelm her with thank-you cards, letters, flowers, etc.

Thank you for your strength in the recent campaign....Thank you for your grace under fire in the face of the vitriolic and false attacks against you....Thank you for giving common conservatives like myself a real reason to be excited about this campaign.

Please understand- while elites from both sides of the aisle take glee in bashing you, everyday Americans, such as myself, stand with you and hope you continue moving forward in your political career. There’s a reason why you were drawing tens of thousands to your rally’s and joe biden was drawing just tens!

It’s a nice dream — Sarah in 2012 — but who in her right mind would expose herself and her family to the abuse which would be guaranteed. What we saw this campaign is small potatoes compared to what would happen if she was at the top of the ticket.

Thanks for posting this. I had the urge to send an angry email to Fox, but instead spent the time writing an encouraging letter to Sarah. I know God will bless Sarah, as he promised the righteous will never be forsaken. I told her if even one mother chose life for her unborn child because of her, it was worth it. I also let her know so many of us will support her campaign for president should she decide to go in that direction.

I sent her a letter telling her that America will be waiting for her to return in 2012,and we fully expect her to do so.I told her not to let those scumbags get to her and God bless her and her family. She sure is wonderful,and I can’t for one second imagine that good lady fading quietly into the background-although after all the abuse that has been heaped upon her and her family,I could not blame her if she did.
