I see the waaaaambulance hasn't made it to your corner of the world. No one was "cold cocked." McCain lost an election. There may have been some voter fraud, but it wasn't the decisive factor: Obama won fair and square. You can whine as if something totally unfair happened, or you can accept that we live in a democracy and start working to win the next election.

And impossibility when 95% of the American people don’t pay taxes.

Step 1: get back in touch with reality. Where did you get this statistic? Are you still drunk from Tuesday night?

The Media won. Not only did they dictate the vote, they cleaned up in record campaign advertising.

He blew the syntax, that's all. He meant to write:

"An impossibility, since it is not true that 95% of the American people pay taxes."

That is, "less than 95%". As to whether that's true or not, I have no comment. I'm just commenting on the sentence structure.

We live in a republic.

I suspect you know this and are promoting democracy knowing that it is never a successful form of government.

I still am not sure that Obama won fair and square. That said, we are all going to have to get used to it, weather the storm, and keep a diary on Obama.

There is much to be done to take advantage when the awakening comes, that Obama was really not what he so eloquently described himself to be.

Dear Know It All,

Let’s get a few facts straight. Obama got more votes. Period. Full stop. The part about fair and square is sheer BS. In your comments you admitted voter fraud. What area of fair and square does that occupy in your universe? He raised hundreds of millions of dollars in undocumented contributions via the Internet using credit and gift cards while deliberately disabling fraud filters. I wrote about this here. This enabled him to outspend McCain by a factor of 2 to 1. How much of that came from illegal contributions? Unless there is an investigation, we’ll never know who paid for the Obama Presidency.

I used an awkward sentence structure regarding the proportion of people who pay taxes. The point is that it’s impossible to reduce taxes on people who don’t pay taxes and the proportion of people who do not pay taxes is roughly 30-40%. There is a difference between a tax reduction and a government handout, genius. Calling it a tax reduction makes welfare look more palatable to people who don’t know any better.

And I’m getting more than a little fed up with a-holes who classify dissent with whining. If you don’t like what I said, go pound sand.
