If I lived in Chicago, Detroit or any other city (which FREEPERS do I believe)...I would leave and stay in a hotel for a few days. I think it would be dangerous to stick around. I pray that FREEPERS who live in large cities are safe and in God’s arms during these coming days.
I seriously doubt there will be any extensive violence. A few people may get carried away for whatever reason, but I think the overwhelming majority of people have more common sense.
OPINION:
I disagree.
I do not believe there will be wide-spread riots.
If Obama wins, the fist of political correctness will be one of the tools to suppress the polite (Conservatives, Conservative Christians, Conservative Jews) masses.
If McCain wins, there may be pockets of liberal hysteronics and possible small local area disturbances which law enforcement will deal with quickly.

Off Topic: Jihadis are always probing for weakness no matter who wins.
I hope all the hyperbole about rioting makes riots less likely, myself. Some leftist hotheads apparently believe that holding this threat over the heads of voters will help get their Manchurian Candidate elected. I believe the opposite to be true.
We shall see.
I hope both of you are right and I am wrong. The Obama fervor out there reminds me of the Twelver Shia in Souther Iraq who whip themselves into an ecstatic frenzy in anticipation of the Hidden Imam.
It is scary. Yesterday, at our post office in our little town, where everyone has always got along, a friend of mine was speaking to her cousin about hunting and made a comment that her husband had some guns he needed to get rid of. Her cousin said, oh, don’t get rid of them, you never know when you might need them. And went on to say that when the grandsons got older they may get into hunting and appreciate having their grandad’s guns. A black woman standing there made an ugly comment. (Keep in mind this post office is really SMALL!) Then proceeded to tell my friend and her cousin, yeah, I meant for you to hear that, you white m*****f*****!! I was appalled!!!!
“Senator...we drink your milkshake! We drink it up!”
Not a bad movie, and given the current drilling controversy, it might be an apt movie tie-in for the endless campaign.
Personally, I still think "The Manchurian Candidate" (Frank Sinatra version) better describes the long national nightmare.
for those libs that want blood:

Needless to say, those of us in line who were white, and patiently waiting, felt a bit “disenfranchised.”
There's a lot of haters out there. {sigh}
Having grown up in a small southern town with ongoing racial tensions in the H.S., I can totally believe that story!
History is important.
After 9/11 those who protect and serve in the USA (leos, alphabets and our military) have learned a lot as to how to deal with emergencies (both manmade and natural).
‘Nuff said.
I believe the odds are big that a McCain Victory will spark a wave of violence all over the nation. Even a Obama win will cause some limited violence. Lets hope I am wrong. But its best to be ready.
Rioters: don’t try it in my neighborhood. We roll Korean-style around here. Nowhuddamean, dawg?
We have also been concerned about this. To look at this logically,
1. Obama is a Marxist who helped his cousin Odinga to run in an election in Kenya in 2006. When the Marxists lost the election, there was massive bloodshed, with many killed and hundreds of churches burned- FOR POLITICAL PROFIT. Odinga ended up with a powerful job.
2. In 2007, Communists in Mexico lost the election. They then yelled fraud and rioted, destroying much, and leaving a government which is still dealing with a strengthened and intimidating criminal population.
3. Obama has a huge ego and NO concern for the sanctity of human life, as seen by his extreme views of abortion and infanticide. He is friends with Rev. Wright and other preachers who teach racial violence- and would enthusiastically urge on their followers. Obama worked with Louis Farrakhan on the Million man march, and had his picture taken with the black muslim leader. If Obama chose to incite violence, these and his Acorn groups would likely respond, as well as others.
We dont think that fear is the right reaction, but prayer and preparedness certainly is.
Of course, I'm not saying that. I agree with you. But if Mac beats the messiah that will be the cry.
And that's my point. If out stupid, inept government officials could actually do something so basic as conduct a straight-up election, this wouldn't be an issue.
I'm almost afraid to see what will happen in school the following day.
Obama could put a stop to it before it begins by asking everyone to stay calm and if he loses he’ll be back in 2012. That would stop most of it. But I don’t think he’ll do it. He’d love to see riots. As would all the dims. It would be Bush’s fault.
