Obama would have to be extremely lacking cognitive aptitude to try and run for president without being a natural born citizen......ince Obama and I share one thing in common, and let me stress the key operative word of that first part - "one", I thought that I would share my birth certificate (front and back, with signature) with the world, minus the personal stuff. Since we were both born in Hawaii, and our copies of our official birth certificate would be on record at the same place, I would think that his would look at least a little like mine, especially since I actually went to the Health Department and paid the $10.00 to get mine while standing in line.

This court case against Obama seems so nonsensical, in that, if all Obama and his people have to do is produce a birth certificate, the lawsuit would have to be dismissed.
On the other hand, if Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate, if he has something to hide, he would rather drag his feet on the court proceedings, rather than try to bring it to a swift conclusion.
But a big question of mine that I don’t know the answer to is : since Obama’s mother was an American citizen, doesn’t that make him an American citizen, even if he was born overseas?
In this you are right, but this part of the constitution has not been tested because since it was enacted, we have not had an instance in which this could have occurred.

His mother was 18. She did not live sufficient time in the US after the age of 16 (5 years required) to be able to pass citizenship on to a child not born in the USA and not born of a US father.

I know that everytime I needed to get my sealed copy from Missouri that it was a Microfiched copy with a embossed raised seal affixed to the back of with with a signiture signed by a rep of the state of Missouri.
I have two different copies one obtained in 1973 and one in 1984. My guess is that if I needed another one today it would look the same as the last two in my safe deposit box.

What about his father’s citizenship — wasn’t he a Kenyan? Could it not be that he is a Kenyan if he were born in Kenya? Up to now 0bama has not been able to verify with certainty that he was even born in Hawaii or on American soil.

It is time for McCain and Palin to produce their birth certificates and challenge 0bama to do the same.
Is is possible the difference in certificates is due to the number of years between births? After all, Sen. Obama was born in 1961, the author in 1978(gulp, the year I graduated high school).
Believe me, I would like nothing better than proof that Sen. Obama has no right to the presidency. He is the antithesis of the leader America needs right now. God forbid that this should be true and not found out until after the election, that would make Joe Biden president. God help us.

Actually the bigger issue, is if he gets elected, then he has cracked the wall so any foriegner could run in future.
The reason for the citizen clause is apparent. Allegiance to this country only, not some other country.

There will be a national crisis if bho cannot prove he’s a natural citizen. A crisis that he will have to take responsibility for and the fallout(re: violence) that will occur if he’s thrown out. It’s treason IMO...an attempt to willingly undermine the constitution of the US.
