The City of Wasilla has been inundated with requests from media re:which books have been removed from their shelves per order of Sarah Palin.
They have issued a general response, presumably so they can get back to the taxing (pun intended) job of running a library.
This list, I promise you, will NOT show up above the fold in either the Times or the Post.

It is my understanding that NO books were ever banned from Wasilla library. This should not even be an issue.
linkie brokie
Shock - I have never read one of these. Nor do I know anyone who has. And honest, I just do not care.
When you click the link, take out the period at the end.
I wonder how much time and effort the rats expended to turn up this information? What a laugh.
The Left caught lying again. Truth has no meaning to these people. Neither does decency.
Thank you. This is great for sending to blithering idiots.

What’s absolutely outrageous about this is that there are some books that absolutely SHOULD be banned from any public library—like books that promote homosexuality or any other deviant lifestyle to children.
Some filth left on an LAPL computer might have likely led to a law enforcement anywhere else. I backed it out, but am really bothered that this would have been open to any 10 year old who happened to just come along.
Is anybody else bothered by the way the word “banned” has been bandied about in this faux-controversy? To ban a book means to prohibit its publication. If I don’t buy a book, I haven’t banned it. If I buy a book and then, on closer inspection, decide I wouldn’t want my small children reading it and remove it from the house, I haven’t banned it. There may be perfectly good reasons for a library to decide it made an unwise decision in purchasing a book. Does every book that’s published deserve to be in a public library? Once a library makes a decision to buy a book, is this irrevocable?
The hypocrisy of the Left is boundless. The only censors on the warpath these days are multiculti zealots determined not to offend Muslim sensibilities. Can you say Jewel of Medina?
