A Religion Columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times says she interviewed Sen. Barack Obama in March of 2004 on his faith, an interview in which he stated that he attended church at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, "every week" at the 11 o'clock service:
OBAMA: Ever been there? Good service. I actually wrote a book called Dreams from My Father, it’s kind of a meditation on race. There’s a whole chapter on the church in that, and my first visits to Trinity.GG:
Do you still attend Trinity?
Yep. Every week. 11 oclock service.
That simply does not jive with Obama's claim that he was not in church to hear any of Jeremiah Wright's tirades against America or his racial statements against white Americans. If Obama attended church "every week" as late as 2004, how could he have not known what his pastor was preaching? It also does not jive with what Obama said in his interview with Bill O'Reilly in which he was asked how often he went to church - to which he replied (see 1:28 mark of the video), "Twice a month."
I watched that interview and agree w/ your assessment - Nobama was definitely winging it, making stuff up as he went along.
What struck me, however, was that BOR left Nobama off the hook regarding his obvious prevarications about the wrong Rev Wright. When he admitted being in the church twice per month X 20 years - that’s nearly 500 EVENTS - he claimed he had “never heard” Wright utter those now infamous lines. BOR just kind of swallowed this line of bunk hook, line and sinker. But think about it - if these defamatory statements from the Rev were so out of character, wouldn’t one expect the congregation to be stunned, gasping at the outrageousness of them? Rather, they cheered and cheered each calumny, certainly indicating that this was quite in character for the Rev. BOR should have called out Nobama on his obvious lie. But, as usual, he was too busy “bloviating” for “the folks”

I think you identified it well. This is along the lines of my own personal philosophy: always tell the truth. You know why? Because I don’t have all that great a memory, so it’s real easy when you tell the truth all the time...you don’t have to remember all those sordid, useless details surrounding a lie. Could this be why McCain is so quick with answers and Obama stutters?
I think this is a big part of the stammering, stuttering, glazed-over eyes; I honestly think he is thinking, “oh, crap, what did I say about this last time? hmm...what would sound about right, what sounds good this time? hmm...”
He probably cannot keep his stories straight and frankly cannot remember all the tales he’s spun.
Has anyone ever asked him: tell us in detail exactly what you did as a “community organizer.” Who signed your paycheck, what was your daily routine? I have not heard anyone ever ask him this.

Obama says he will do a better job by talking to Karzai and Pakistan.
My take.
He will accept calls in regard to U.S. actions in either country and act on it.
And, he will call prior to doing anything in Afghanistan or Pakistan, to get approval.
More tying up the military with politics.
He is going to get some of our best killed.
OPINION:
I agree with you Jet Jaguar.
My concern is that the mind-numbed BO voter doesn’t understand this.
And the Quran teaches us it is permitted to lie to the infidel.
