Compare Obama's supposed birth certificate with that of our youngest daughter who was born at Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. Even though hers was prepared about 10 years after his, note that hers is similar in form to that of us old folks and our parents and grandparents with lots of info, whereas his contains very little info.

As you stated, the years of issue might be the problem. That and the newspaper announcement.
What might help is getting another Freeper who’s relative was born the same year as obama.
Damn good work. I looked through a strong box here and found a copy of my first wife’s birth certificate. Although from another state, and a mere copy; it had details like your original of your daughter. I mailed that certificate to my youngest sister as she lives near her.

I have not been tracking the Obamanation birth certificate issue, but the democrats seem to have released a copy, not the original.
There are clearly things in the original that Obama DOES NOT WANT US TO KNOW!

Where did that folded image of Obama’s birth certificate come from? That’s the first time I’ve seen a photo of a hard piece of paper.See this article on factcheck.org. There are several other very high resolution detailed pictures there as well.

That's a possibility, but more likely that Obama wasn't born in Hawaii at all, so there is no bona fide Hawaii birth certificate for him in existence - even though his "official" bio claims that he was born in Honolulu. There have been whispers that he was born in a foreign country (Kenya or possibly Canada), which would make him constitutionally ineligible to serve as POTUS, since, in that event, he would not be a "natural born citizen."

It says on your daughter’s certificate that she was born at Kapiolani Hospital. Can you remember if this hospital had been remodelled shortly before that time? Or perhaps the Queens Hospital? She was born right at the time OB’s father was visiting him in Honolulu. In his book he says that one of the activities of the visit would be “driving by the remodelled hospital where I was born”. I have tried to find out the history of the two hospitals but the closest I came to a possible remodel was when Kauikeobuni Childrens’ Hospital was merged with Kapiolani to form the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children. That however didn’t happen until 1978. It’s probable that IF he was born in Honolulu his original certificate would look a lot like your daughter’s. The green one in the photo is a Certification of Live Birth which only includes a bare minimum of data. He should release the original long form like you daughter’s to be officially verified as genuine but has refused to do this. Apparently, he has claimed both of the two hospitals named above as the place of his birth. Knowing which one was remodelled could eliminate the other one. However he could be just making the whole thing up like he has so much of his life.

It's a non-starter. What we should be demanding is for Obama to release a September 2008 copy of his current birth record.
