Happy to do it! I am surprised by my own elation over the Palin pick (after all, I was hoping for Romney) but I mean Sarah just ROCKS!
McCain is both genius and hero.
Would you rather have seen Mccain pick an old, worn-out RINO like Ridge, Lieberman or even Romney?? I guess you would have, by your statements. And such a move would have INSURED that the base would have said, “ho-hum” and not voted, gave or volunteered...now...the base is on FIRE, like it has not been in a LONG time!!
Look—there IS going to be a female VP or even Pres SOMETIME...WHY NOT it be one of OURS, someone with good morals and values—instead of Hillary??
I must say—I was tearful when I heard of the pick, and not because I was disappointed—but because I KNEW that the would change the dynamics of the WHOLE election!!
There’s nothing wrong with the Palin pick per se. Personally, I like her a lot.
But there’s all SORTS of wrong in celebrating her solely because she’s a woman.

These little nuggets are a reminder why this country was founded: to thwart tyrannical government. The fact that America raises thoroughbred tyrants should come as a suprise, but it doesn't. Our Founders would have raised guns in resistence to this infection.
An ammendment I'd like to see would read something like this: "When a representative or senator displays a consistent disregard for the constitution and bill of rights, said representative or senator shall be relieved of duty, suspended in pay, and a special election be held within six months to allow the state effected time to find a suitable replacement."

It's not that she's 'soley' a woman- she's a conservative Woman. They are few and far between in national politics. I've never trusted estrogen as far as I can throw it, so I have some reservations, but my experience has been with Feinstein and Boxer- two of the nastiest women to wear Senator on their name tags. My state is screwed but I hold out hope for the other 49 (or is that 56?).
The nomination of Sarah Barracuda has put a stake through the heart of any further Clinton ambitions, imo. That's a good thing, but we've only started, I hope.
If we don't reverse the socialist tide in this country life will be hell for our children and grandchildren. The supremes gave us a straw (Heller) and I grasped it, McCain has tossed us a straw with Palin and I connected, I've got alot of room in my hands for more.
Internationally, the promotion of a woman to such high office could have repercussions we'll not enjoy in our lifetimes. Burkhas? Traded in for a bikini and Muzzie boy might just have to deal with it. "Too bad, fundamentalist breath". What could be worse than having Middle Eastern women kick their jihadie boyfriends in the nuts over J.C. Penny summer wear? If it takes estrogen to drag these guys kicking and screaming into the 21st Century, so be it. But it must be used wisely. Pelosi is an example where it's been abused. Others can learn from our example.

The left respects brute force, it is their hallmark. It would be hard for them not to realize what they are saying. They just have a different (Machiavellian) value system.
That's a sucker bet. Bill and Hill's game is to appear to be enthusiastically supporting Hussein Obama and uniting the party (because they absolutely MUST give that appearance) but they are certainly working beneath the radar like dogs to do whatever it takes to make sure Hillary has a clear, Obama-free shot at 2012.

I thought the simplicity of this observation above was striking:
When i look at Obama Biden, i see two lawyers.
