I had to take one marketing class in college. All I remember is:

1. Nothing kills a good advertising campaign like a bad product.

or, translated into Texan:

2. You can't polish a turd.

This part's really brain dead:

Some analysts said that Mr. Obama could be like Ronald Reagan in 1980. Mr. Reagan was up against an unpopular incumbent, President Jimmy Carter, who for all his weaknesses was a known quantity. Only after Mr. Reagan persuaded voters that he was credible as a president did the polls break in his direction.

Reagan was a major labor leader, a leading campaigner for Barry Goldwater, a popular and well-known two-term governor of California, and a previous Presidential candidate before 1980. Everybody who was paying attention knew where he stood on a wide range of issues.

What comparable resume can Obama claim?

What concerns me is why he ranks where he does in the polls.

New York Times: "Where's The Bounce [Dammit]?"

The short bus got a flat tire along the way. Talking smack about the USA while on Nazi soil wasn't too bright!

The good news for McCain is that the argument re Mr. Reagan will break for him, not Barry O.

They also state that he’s had four years in the US Senate. Tell me how 143 days equals four years!?!

Gallup has McCain up by 4.

I can live with that rank in the polls.

A few months ago I finally read the book "Reagan-In His Own Hand"

The writings in that books were his hand-written drafts of his radio chats in the 1970's and show the depth and breadth of his remarkable knowledge.

The MSM and the Dummycraps tried to liken him as a buffoon but the written proof shows how intelligent and gifted he really was.

"Gallup has McCain up by 4."

If Obama consistently trails McCain by 4% or more leading into the DNC convention, I have a feeling he's gonna get thrown under his own bus and Queen Hillary will emerge into the spotlight. Riots to follow! Easy victory for McCain! That's based on an "if" though.

Reagan went around the media and connected with the average person, unlike obama who the media is trying to drag across the finish line, Obama couldn’t even put away Hillary and she is hated.

The media is so hung up on some ideal that they think obama represents they don’t even notice he is nothing more than an empty suit at a photo-op

Honestly, I'm pretty thrilled. There is no reason why he shouldn't be up 15 points. He has had 10,000 times more press than McCain. Couple that with the sheer stupidity/ignorance of the US voter and it should be a runaway.

The MSM equation is conservative = idiot. Consider the disparate treatment of Sen. Dan Quale, who had even more experience than The Messiah.

Will he debate? I imagine part of the deal for the Debate(s) will be a teleprompter. With that Hussein only needs to answer with something like, “You raise a good question, Mr Moderator and this is how I would handle it,” then read off the TP whatever it is he wanted to talk about that may or may not have any relevance to the question. Candidates do that anyway at debates but I don’t think they normally use TPs. Hussein will insist on using a TP and part of the deal will be that the TP is not shown or mentioned at all. If that is the requirement McC needs to publicize that fact and refuse publicly to allow the TP.
