One Elephadonkey!

MAY I HAVE YOUR UNDIVIDED ATTENTION, PLEASE!!!

In the absence of good material, I have opted to spend a few moments in unbridled rant…

1. Are you people really happy with the extreme lack of sincerity when it comes to political candidates?

2. Don’t tell me what “flavor” you are! I could care less if Republicrat or Demican or Greendipendent.

3. If there are no just plain-ol’ “Americans” left let’s just close the dang door and call it what it is… OVER!

Today’s politicians stand there with their smug attitudes and silly self-righteous smirks on their faces and pontificate from their mighty democratically appointed thrones and tell us we gotta separate God from anything having to do with government or education. Say what you will about the founding fathers, but they made a whole heap of room for God in our government.

They made room for him in the government buildings, in the founding documents, in the classrooms and boardrooms.

So what is it that makes all you leader-wanna-be’s think this whole “Separation of Church and State” crap by its current interpretation is anything more than pure-de-ole’ horse hockey!?! Is everybody in office so thickheaded they don’t understand the original intent was to keep the Governments sticky paws out of Church business and not vice-versa?

You wanna see why these morons don’t want God in the picture? Here’s just a few reasons… Hilary’s expected to run the world’s largest superpower when she can’t even keep track of her own husband right in the house with her?

Obama apparently does have experience that was previously overlooked… he is an experienced racist! He’s a racist man with a racist wife and a racist pastor that claims he can unite a country that’s already divided straight down its racial posterior.

And McCain? Don’t get me started on that one. Folks that believe one thing before they run for office then flip their opinion to get elected to another office make me wanna vomit. If you can’t be elected on the truth of what’s in your heart, then don’t run for office in the first place!

Folks, I just want some honesty.

I want for one time to see some greasy-haired politician shoot straight without all the fancy lip-work. Verbal gymnastics may be fun in debate class, but if it’s all we have to look forward to with the new prez,

I’m checkin’ out of here for a few years.

This makes as much sense as Pandora with a dolphin on her head.

I suggest you plead the Chewbacca defense.

Great picture, by the way...

Pandora’s a big word. I figure they wouldn’t throw you so bad.

Thanks for tryin’ anyway.

I don't think big words are the challenge. When you start down one path of a thought on a topic, it is best to continue down that path until you get to your point. If your car comes to a fork in the road, if you go in all directions offered you will end up no where.

Agreed... I usually do. I’m not sure if you got the other message yet.

In retrospect, not exactly stellar work.

My comment was not meant to be personal, it’s just usually if I have advice for someone, I might give it in a personal note. It’s usually a little better received that way.

I do appreciate the criticism. It encouraged me to re-read and re-think it... to bad I can’t edit and re-post it.

I think I was thrown when the link you posted was broken. Normally, this indicates the typical late night fare here which can often include drunken rants. I’ll take you at face value that this isn’t what you posted.

Nope... tee-totaler.

The rant was unfortunately made in a moment of unfocused (yet angry) lucidity. The broken link? It’s what happens when you leave the extension off the path.

That may be it. You may want to click the 'report abuse' button and paste in the correct link. I'm sure the mods will fix it for you and this will help keep others from making smart a** comments like mine. :->

BTW, don't let things get to you. We are Conservatives, we don't live our lives by who is elected in DC, we succeed in spite of what happens there. Remember, the scariest sentence you can hear is "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."- that even applies when someone is claiming to help with Conservative approaches. This is the United States of America. Formed from Revolution, survived the darkest sin of slavery, served penitence through civil war, molded by two World Wars, strengthened by depressions, recessions, inflation, and all other plights, even dealt with the likes of Wilson, Carter, and Clinton. The complaints we have today seem like nothing more than speed bumps on the highway of history.

The only way we will lose is if we do give up that American spirit, the heart heart that we can overcome anything.
