Anybody Have a Ranch In Paraguay that they can sell me? Ranch in Paraguay, you say? You're in luck. I've recently inherited a ranch in Paraguay from the Prince of Nigeria. I've set up an escrow account to accomodate the transaction, you just need to e-mail me your banking information and we'll do business.

Haven’t had a chance yet. I’ll try to get on tonight (no streaming video here) and take a look. I’m very interested in how that thing works.

Thank GAWD there was
NEVER 'global warming/cooling' before the evil United States of America came along!
I mean, who else could they have blamed the melting of the many ice ages on?

I wonder what they will say when we shove this back in their faces in one year and ask why 3 billion people have not died off?
Do you think they will still be drinking Hansen’s koolaid?

Global warming is accelerating.
I remember the same thing during the Carter administration...

he's saying there will be 2-meter sea level rise this century
You'd think the sea levels would've risen an inch by now...

If Obama loses the election say goodbye to Florida, NYC and any other coastal area.
Goodbye to Florida? Rats - no more DUmmie FUnnies.

Or sacrifice the "university" criterion and search based on the rest of those, looking for a healthy local economy with a mix of practical skills. Finding those places is difficult but that's what you need to do.
I found one!

I've been beseeching my parents to stockpile food for the last year, but they're generally dismissive of my concerns. What are the rest of you doing?
I've still got my stockpile from Y2K.

Where did you get the background data? (I can’t link to the url anymore). Can you get a thesis title or abstract?

Im still trying to wrap my brain around why a two meter rise in sea level is a bad thing. Disclaimer here, I live in Kansas. It isn't going to happen, but if it did, the really BAD THING about it would be all the left-wing moonbats fleeing Manhattan Island for Manhattan, KS.

I really doubt that they would end up in Kansas. And there are some mootbats in Manhatten KS already but more cowboys and farmers.

I really doubt that they would end up in Kansas. Speaking generically. The downside is they would leave the coastal areas go and bother decent people.

I checked it out. Surprised I've not seen that episode before; my wife and I are big fans of "Throwdown." La Caja China looks like it would be GREAT for a big party, but my my 5 pound butt end cut picnic would have looked pretty sad and lonely in one. I really like the way you can roast the meat under the coals while grilling up top.
BTW, if anyone was wondering why I used the butt end of a picnic instead of a regular pork butt, I went to the first grocery store and they wanted $5.56 a pound for pork butt. It was going to be $45 for what I wanted. I said "no, thanks" and went down the street to another store. They had the butt end of a picnic (essentially the same thing, just a little lower on the front leg of the pig) for $1.25, and performed every bit as well.

When they try to argue that climate scientists are "bought off" by the environmental lobby. Like there's big, big money in environmentalism. Pssst. They weren't "bought off." They are at the top of the pyramid scheme. You're at the bottom. Your little money funnels up to them. Small change to the millions of suckers at the bottom means big profits at the top.
Even better, when you can convince the suckers that anytime the temperature or frequency of severe weather being above or below the mean is caused by something humans can control, the more money you can get flowing up the pyramid.
A good rule of thumb: If someone tells you that something is above or below "average," ask what the standard deviation is. If they can't tell you, or their eyes glaze over, good chance they are lying to you with statistics.
