Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean called the campaign tactics of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Senator John McCain (Ariz.) sleazy.
I know this is a harsh accusation, but lets look at the facts, Dean urged. First and foremost, McCain admits that hes running against Senator Obama. This sets a starkly negative tone to his campaign. Its as if he saying that Obama is an inferior option for America. To me, calling an African-American candidate inferior smacks of racism.
And need I point out that McCain has been openly critical of Obamas positions on the economy and the war, Dean went on. This is a negative campaign tactic, meant to undermine voters confidence in the Democratic nominee. It fails to acknowledge the message of hope and change that Obama is offering to America.
Dean demanded that McCain separate himself from the brain-dead Republican opposition to whats good for the country and work with us, as he has in the past, to accomplish the important objective of putting a Democrat in the White House.
In related news, the Obama campaign rejected Senator McCains suggestion that the two candidates conduct a series of ten town hall meetings with voters, calling it an attempt to sponge off of Obamas celebrity stature for political gain. Senator Obama has the money and charisma to win this thing on his own. He doesnt need to resuscitate McCains senescent bid by sharing a rostrum with him.

Pot...meet kettle.
Gotta love satire! :)
Though with Dean, this isn’t wholly unbelievable. The man is Grade A certifiable raving mad.
McCain saying that he is running against a Senator - Obama - does not set a negative tone - is is saying the truth. Obama is a Senator.
Saying that Obama is a senator does not say that he is an inferior option, therefore, it does not smack of racism.
What Dean is doing, though, is engaging in race-baiting.
While Dean is at it, someone - lots of someones - need to ask him why Obama used racist words like “typical white person.”
Dean calling Repubs “brain-dead” sets a negative tone to this campaign. It's as if Dean is saying that Repubs are inferior, and that smacks of racism. So...
Republicans can use what Dean says and his own methods and send it right back at him.
Geez...seriously...the word “satire” is even in the title and you think it’s serious.
Sorry, but who gives a flying-f*ck what Howard Dean thinks?
It’s satire, but only a slight variation of Dean’s actual statements.
Apparently some people don’t recognize satire when they read it....
No... I saw it, thank you.
I was adding my own little two cents worth to this.
I have said may times that Dean will accuse Repubs of racism... just another chance to prepare Repubs. That’s all.
Sorry if I offended.
Apparently some like you are too trigger-happy to wait and let others say why they typed what they did.
Idiot.
Looks like Semmens hooked another one.
You’d come across a lot better if you gracefully admitted that you fell for it and simply laugh it off rather than going with the lame excuse and name calling route.
What a jerk Dean is-—he has no room to talk...look up sleazy in the dictionary and his picture should be right next to it. He is an ass clown.
John, you magnificent bastard................
(heheheh)
