Is Barack Obama the quintessential politician who will say anything depending on the group he is in front of?
Obama won widespread applause from the Jewish community and Israeli citizens after he became the first president since 1967 to make public his opinion that Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel. The remarks were clearly made to pander to the AIPAC membership, the nations LARGEST JEWISH LOBBY.
Obamas statement is that it immediately drew widespread criticism ... ...the Obama campaign made an attempt to get in front of the story yesterday. According to the Jerusalem Post a campaign adviser clarified Thursday that Obama believes "Jerusalem is a final status issue, which means it has to be negotiated between the two parties" as part of "an agreement that they both can live with."
This reversal in course echoes similar statements made by the white house a day earlier...

Not Israeli but my daughter is, just an American Jew. It isn't Olmert. Not Obama...what's the matters with the "O's" regarding politicians...bring back B-man Netanyahu and McCain, and no more land for peace BS which NEVER work. Let the Israeli people build their own Qassams and start their own "propaganda programs with Israel stretching as far from the great river( Nile) to the West Bank of the Euphrates and plaster id upon the walls of the UN..better yet, just flatten the UN or toss it in Tehran where it belongs.
