I could write an entire post about Obama and that whack job white dude who offended Hillary and every decent American on the planet with his racist rant on the pulpit of Obama's church. But I am not one of those who thinks that Obama should be judged too much by his associations. Certainly this freak isn't attached to him in any way that bothers me.
Obama had nothing to do with that and as we've seen, he's not going to do much about it. I don't know that he should...that's an argument for another day. What really offends me is the reaction of the people in the pews.

I’m just amazed at the vulgarity of what passes for worship in those churches. The screaming and ranting and the crude demagoguing. This is truly “religion” for the base and ignorant.
It is pure ego tripping ... sad that the congregants are aiding this.
Why shouldn’t a leftist cleric believe that he can get away with any rant he wants? After all, he’s a “man of God”.
Ego-tripping or not, where is the reverence? Where is the appeal to our better natures? Where is the introspection? Where is the awe over the nature of God and His love for us? Where is the intellectual curiosity about the scriptures and theology? Where are the commandments?
What they offer is sheer, vulgar demagoguery, and those people lap it up.
I am trying to figure out what the heck they worship in that church. Black supremacy? Fight Whitey? Is Jesus mentioned in it all?
Uhhhh, Obama called this "freak" his moral compass and Rev. Wright his spiritual mentor. If that doesn't bother one then they probably agree with them.

I noticed as this radical priest was ranting that most if not all in the audience was worked up like my not so prized bull after a cow in heat.
It amazed me that the speaker need only mention bad whitey and reparations in the same dialog to get everyone whaling and flailing.
Geroldine Ferrero was on O’Really tonight and pondered why the IRS has not taken away the tax exemption for this race baiting and cult excuse for a church.
I notice lately on Fox that it seems just about every black Democrat sees no harm in the propaganda bile spewed out of the mouths of these racists haters and staunch Obama supporters.
Meg, I would say Obama is certainly attached to this freak. To the tune of 200k in earmarks for Pfelger's church. That is in my estimation, attached, and then some.
Jesus and his teachings obviously do not fit. That is why you have prophets and "newly discovered" books of the bible. Mohammad was truly a genius in creating a warrior religion demanding absolute loyalty and directions as to just war (continuous until everyone believes). Isolate yourselves from the hated enemy and follow the "Holy Man".
“I am trying to figure out what the heck they worship in that church”
It’s called ‘black liberation theology’ — the backbone of trinities philosophy of victimization, and war with the white “oppressors” everywhere.
Here is a taste!

It’s actually a contrived form of Marxism.
This is why it resonates with the left.

It’s reminiscent of the films I have seen of Adolf Hitler stirring up the people. I didn’t understand him, either.
I fear that too many of us are again falling into the Klintoon Triangulation strategy. The Klintoons may be history - we can only hope - but their poison continues to ruin all the fresh water around.
Barack and Michelle have gone to that church for over 20 years. Are we supposed to believe that they are the only two who don’t hoot and holler and jump up and down when these rants are going on?
I agree. It seems that serious thought has very little to do with what goes on in that church. The tenor of every sermon, so it seems, is laden with victimology and the incaranate evil of whitey. They’re not likely to give up that ready-made excuse for failure; i.e., the race card. Another scary thing: ninety percent of Blacks vote Democrat; about the same percentage believe O.J. was innocent and framed by “the man.”
