This isn’t new. Apparently it’s just being highlighted. Knee socks with lace have been around for awhile. You can also get them thigh high.

I was at a crafts fair yesterday and there was a booth of tie dyed stuff.
There were some 20 somethings looking at it they actually said “ewww I would not buy that, its so 80s”.
My husband and I cracked up.
Those are the girls who will think knee highs are new.
