Here is the 2008 Electoral Vote Projection Map and 50-Day State Poll Average Chart for Saturday, May 24, 2008:
Barack Obama continues to lead John McCain 237-236 on the Electoral Vote Map as the day begins. There are 65 votes in the "tossup" category. . .
Don't forget to check the newly designed Last 50 Days of State Polls Chart that can always be found on the lower part of the page. It shows all state polls for the last 50 days and lists them by state. This data is used to figure the state poll averages and determine the coloring of the Electoral Map.

Losing in Mississippi and Louisiana does that to a man
Low expectations..........
Look at it in terms of "conservative or liberal" and the options aren't so simple to comprehend.
Fair point - I’ve perhaps become too indoctrinated in the GOP = more conservative and Dem = less conservative.
Again, you make a good point, FRiend.
The Democrats are going to gain a lot of seats in the Congress.
But their going to lose the big prize. And they know it. And they also know that they can’t do anything about it. If they try to take the nomination away from Barry, their will be riots at the convention. They’re stuck with him.
“But their going to lose the big prize”=But THEY’RE going to lose the big prize.
Hate poor grammar, especially when it comes from me.
I see that Colorado has finally lost it’s freaking mind.
How so?
Gee let me see, Obama may have trouble winning and you ask the question above?
How so you don't comprehend?

Almost certainly today's "winner," barring a last minute miracle. ;)
“conservative movement”
Has what to do with either candidate for the Presidency?
Has what to do with either candidate for the Presidency?
It seems obvious to me that since there are only two candidates that can win this election and that one of them is the most liberal member of the Senate that it is in the Conservative interest that he not win.
I don't want to spend the next 8 years regretting that Obama won.
“I don’t want to spend the next 8 years regretting that Obama won.”
No matter who wins, we are ALL going to regret it, and very deeply I fear.
No matter who wins, we are ALL going to regret it, and very deeply I fear.
With all due respect I don't see it that way. I strongly feel that if Obama gets elected we will regret it deeply. However if McCain wins I think there is a good chance that a lot of the people saying what you said above will grow to like him.
Of course there are some people who will never be happy, I don't know enough about you to to know if that is your or not.
“However if McCain wins I think there is a good chance that a lot of the people saying what you said above will grow to like him.”
Like him? Doubtful. Open to being pleasantly surprised by him? Sure why not? I’ll even promise you this; if he nominates a CONSERVATIVE VP....he’ll get my vote. No matter how much I may vomit afterwards.
Sounds like we may not be that far apart after all.
“Sounds like we may not be that far apart after all.”
Lets’ see the *Conservative VP first.
*Due to the fact that my fallback guy in the primary was Mitt, I would also vote for the ticket if he was the pick....even though I have serious doubts as to his conservatism, I don’t feel the visceral hatred from him that I do from McStupid.
