Cynthia McKinney supports fight for water

The Truth Commission for Water Rights on May 3 heard the experiences of Detroit and Highland Park, Mich., residents who are being denied their human right to water. The Michigan Welfare Rights Organization (MWRO) organized the daylong event of multimedia and firsthand presentations.

I haven't heard of this "right" before. Can people sue to enforce their "human right to water" in drought stricken areas? What about my "human rights" to a new car every year? I want my HUMAN RIGHTS!

That same periodical formed a group against foreclosures. The group felt that folks not paying mortgages were being discriminated against because they are poor. The fact that they hadnt paid a dime to the finance companies never entered into the article..
