Be an economic patriot! Spend your stimulus check on THIS!
Geeks On Caffeine ^ | 05-20-08 | Scott Maxim

This is one seriously funny cartoon! If you're serious about keeping 100% of your stimulus money in America, then there are precious few places you can spend it to accomplish this. Check out this "Geeks on Caffeine" cartoon. You may not agree with how these "Economic Patriots" spend their money, but you can't argue they kept it in the U.S.! FUNNY!!!!!!

Paper targets of Bin Laden. The first time I used a handgun I put three right in his face from lips to forehead (at 9-15 ft) (9mm Ruger).

Felt really good about being able to hit the target the first time I used a gun. Never had to carry in Nam. Very quiet where I went.

Then my son had to spoil it by blowing the target away with one bad-assed shotgun. Looked like a Thompson MG on steroids. The boy has an attitude about protecting us. Ashame they wouldn’t let him take his M249 home from Iraq. He was an Army sharpshooter and got some terrs, and that wasn’t even his job.

The rest of the money goes for medical bills, some Star Trek cards, and a toupee (just kidding, I think).

Well at least you weren't shooting at the Koran. Toilet paper targets are useless.

Not as funny as the “Lez for Prez” off to the right side.

I told my wife that I wanted to spend my rebate check on a new gun. She told me that I have enough guns. I don't understand that statement. I think that I need to purchase at least one firearm per year to support the gun industry. She thinks that once my two gun safes are full I should stop buying them.

We finally had to come to an understanding about who wears the pants in the family - and if I wanted to get into them I had to use the check for a family vacation. I was thinking about going to the National Firearms Museum.

Double-century in one day?

You rock (and roll)...

How are you getting home?

I'm doing the MS 150, Duluth to Minneapolis, the weekend of June 7-8.

Cheers!

Sag wagon including my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.

Way to go on the 150. One day or two?

I’ve done the STP twice in two days, now it is time for the one day adventure.

Two days -- I'm doing it with my wife and the cubs (both teenagers).

Did a metric century on a Rails-to-Trails bike trail on a mountain bike last weekend...will switch over to my good Cannondale R1000 for this weekend and for the event.

We're biking from the Twin Cities to Stillwater and back this weekend.

Cheers!

I am trying to get my wife to ride more. I would like for us to ride in Ireland next year, if she gets some road time in.
