yep.... I agree.
According to the American Conservative Union, his score is 83.

However, 83 or 82.3 either way is not necessarily that great. It's just CLEARLY not the record of a socialist.
The ACU is hardly a measure of GOP Policy, they are true conservatives seeking to get out clear information about candidates and office holders and affect conservative policy in America.
My point in saying that you weren't running was that we can find more conservative people than John McCain and line them up from here to China but none of them are in the race for POTUS 2008, only Obama and McCain are. So I don't think it was Non Sequiter, it was there to hold up that the only person worth comparing John to is Obama. One or the other will be president. We have a chance to try to make sure the more conservative OF THE TWO will be president.
I feel like not Voting for MCCain is casting at least a half vote for Obama. However there is no doubt that conservatives who spend their time on this board or any other tearing down John McCain are campaigning for Obama. There is just no getting away from that.
However what I do mean, is that their is no denying that the beneficiary of all this effort to tear down John McCain is Barak Obama and their is no denying that.
Even if folks aren't going to vote for Obama (I know they're not) , they are benefiting him with ceaseless attacks on John McCaon.
I’m not compelled to attempt to prove anything to what I perceive as a closed mind. I’m not out to change anyone’s vote - simply respond to this thread with my position.
Do what seems right in your own eyes.
You have asserted he is a committed socialist. Can you back that up? Do you know what a socialist believes?
