To many people have taken to smelling something funny around here.
I’ve been smelling a big fat RAT since this polygamy story came out. All many people think they know about Mormons they saw on “Big Love” and “South Park”. They assume all Mormons are closet polygamists because that is what HBO is pushing. They don’t know there are different groups of Mormons. I often thought that “Big Love” was a hit job for some agenda. I just couldn’t figure out what it was. Earlier this year, I figured it was about Romney. And if Romney had been the candidate, this actual polygamy story would have come out to try to discredit him. Could be the VP possibility. But nothing happens anymore with this ferry ring circle of media getting involved in political hacking.
Nothing happens by accident anymore, that is.

So my first theory is conclusively disproven. This wasn’t a setup pre-planned by Warren Jeffs himself. This really was some obsessed nutzo acting alone.
That said, it’s looking like what we have left is the CPS bureaucracy flailing about, determined to defend itself, determined not to admit a mistake.
I’ll admit, part of me really, really, wants to see the CPS commissars discredited and humiliated but I also know this is going to make the FLDS magically untouchable for the NEXT fifty years. No elected official in Texas will bother them again after this. They’ll be free to brutalize, exploit and molest to their heart’s content.
Differences between being polygamists or not is like the differences between Hillary and Obama—simply skin deep and slight matter of degree.
There is NO proof that this woman is the original caller.
There is more proof she is than that every single parent on that cult ranch were abusing.
Texas Rangers: Evidence Links Woman To Texas Phone Call
"During the search, officers found several items that indicated a possible connection between Swinton and calls regarding the FLDS compounds in Colorado City, Ariz., and Eldorado, Texas," the Texas Rangers said. "These items of interest to Texas authorities were seized by the Colorado Springs Police Department and released to the Texas Rangers. These items will be evaluated and forwarded to various crime laboratories in Texas for analysis."
CPS has a taped recording of that "Sarah" phone call... it is law.
Polygamy Trail Leads to Colorado
Jessop told ABC News that she -- at the direction of Texas Rangers -- began recording those calls in the past two weeks and that the Rangers were able to trace them to Colorado Springs, where the arrest was made.
Those were separate calls from the originals, which were phoned in to a shelter.
It doesn’t matter if “every single” parent was abusing.
All adults had access to all children. It is legally a single property. This is no different than removing all children from a 3 bedroom apartment.
I don’t think it’ll be “huge”, just entertaining. The media will ignore it.
I don’t know how true it is. However, interesting turn of event. I think this raid was based on faulty information. The FLDS raid was based on a fake emergency call from a person in Colorado. As it turns out, it is an Obama delegate.
