Once again, a furor surrounding US Presidential candidate Barack Obama has erupted, this time over a senior military advisor to the Obama campaign with a history of anti-Israel remarks. He has strongly criticized pro-Israel Jews in the United States for allegedly torpedoing peace efforts in the Middle East.
In a 2003 interview with The Oregonian newspaper unearthed by The American Spectator magazine, General Merrill "Tony" McPeak, a former chief of staff in the United States Air Force who is a candidate for secretary of defense in a potential Obama administration, claimed that efforts to bring peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority failed because there is no US-written "playbook" to create peace.

Wow, this is real winner of a direction to veer off in. For both of them.
Yes, of course.
The Holocaust was the Jews’ fault, too, as was 911, BusHitler, and every other evil that ever visited the earth.

“After 5 years in Iraq, we recently hit 4000 servicemembers killed.
Vietnam 58,000+.
Tell me how Iraq is worse?
I deeply regret every loss of life in Iraq.
I have lost more than one person I knew personally.
At any rate, I trust John McCain to lead us in Iraq exponentially more than I trust Barack Obama.
Obama’s entire candidacy has been based on a speech he gave at an anti war rally in 2002.
This was a speech he gave when he represented one of the most liberal districts in Chicago and the state of Illinois. The speech had little to no political risk for Obama at the time.
Since then, we have learned that Michelle Obama has never been proud of her country until her husband had polical success on a national level.
We have learned that Obama’s house was purchased in an unethical manner with the help of a Chicago political fixer currently under indictment for corruption charges.
We have learned Obama’s spiritiual leader, Obama’s mentor, and father figure believes the American goverment started the AIDS virus to kill blacks, that America should be called the United States of KKK A and that God should damn America. We have also learned that as recently as 2006 Obama has given 22,500 US dollars so his pastor can continue his hateful rants against America.
After all these revelations, we are now to believe that Barack Hussein Obama is the one to solve the Iraq problem, and not John McCain. While McCain spent 6 years of his life in a POW camp in Hanoi, Obama spend 6 years at Harvard, on his White grandparents dime, while he was addicted to cocaine and smoked marijuana daily.
Sorry people, it just doesn’t wash.
You Democrats effed up and nominated someone who was an unknown, and as more and more is known about the man the more and more he becomes unelectable.
If John Kerry could be Swift Boated, (Kerry was awarded the Silver Star), please tell me how Obama, with all his baggage, survives the 527s?
Especially considering your best line against McCain is one that was accurate and has been taken totally out of context and distorted.
It is gonna be a fun summer.”

“Margaret Talev of the Washington Bureau of McClatchy Newspapers provides some historical context for the doctrines — political and theological — espoused by the recently retired pastor at Barack Obama’s church, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.
Talev writes that “some of the more provocative doctrines” at the core of Wright’s message — Jesus is black, Marxism can aid in a true understanding of the Gospels, the white church in America is the Antichrist — grew out of the writings of James Cone, the founder of the modern black liberation theology movement. “Particularly influential,” she writes, “was Cone’s seminal 1969 book, ‘Black Theology & Black Power.’ “
All this nonsense came out of the “Black Panther” movement in the mid sixties...and petter’d out in the seventies. Farrakhan, Reverend Wright, and other pockets scattered around the country...still rant this anti-white, anti-American hate raciest crap from their pulpits. Somewhere along the line Wright let Cones and his book, “Black Theology & Black Power” screw his head up...the fear for a lot of national voter’s is: How about Obama...has Wright screwed his head up the same way?”
More from Politico:
“
Barack Obama’s own account of his life shows that he consciously sought out people on the far left fringe. In college, “I chose my friends carefully,” he said in his first book, “Dreams From My Father.”
These friends included “Marxist professors and structural feminists and punk rock performance poets” — in Obama’s own words — as well as the “more politically active black students.” He later visited a former member of the terrorist Weatherman underground, who endorsed him when he ran for state senator.
Obama didn’t just happen to encounter Jeremiah Wright, who just happened to say some way out things. Jeremiah Wright is in the same mold as the kinds of people Barack Obama began seeking out in college — members of the left, anti-American counter-culture.

“Sometimes, it’s good that certain Liberals are not in the military. That way, the rest of us don’t have to worry about their mistakes with artillery and such.”
All the GOP has to do is replay sound bytes like “The war is lost” (Harry Reid) “Iraq is a failure” (Nancy Pelosi) “Iraq is George Bush’s Vietnam” (Ted Kennedy) “What you’re saying here, frankly, requires a willing suspension of disbelief” (Hillary Clinton to David Patraeus) “God damn America!” (Jerimiah Wright) etc. Americans do not like losers and we do not like whiners.

Not surprisingly, the usual CNN is so “in-LUVE” with Barack that can’t have the balls to bring THIS up.
