California State Assembly Member Kevin De Leon (D-Los Angeles), introduced a bill aimed at skirting the Constitutional right to bear arms. Assembly Bill 2062 would require that gun owners obtain a permit to buy ammunition. Applicants for a permit-to-purchase would be required to submit to a background check, pay a $35/bullet fee, and wait 30 days to receive the permit.
The Constitution may say the people have the right to bear arms, but it doesnt say the arms have to be loaded, De Leon said, touting his own stroke of genius. We will make guns into useless paperweights and put an end to firearm violence in our state.
The proposed legislation has been endorsed by both the Bloods and the Crips. Too many amateurs be pulling guns on the brothers, complained Crips member Tiny Johnson. Thisll make the streets safer.

Where DO these nihilists get their ideas?
An arm ain’t an arm if it’s not loaded.
Another stupid waste of government money!
Good luck on that one Kevin! NOT!
Cretin!

This has been going on for awhile. Since the anti-gun people can’t get guns banned outright nationwide (and the total bans out there, like in D.C., are on VERY shaky ground), they’ve resorted to harassing ammo makers & dealers.
What next? They’ll probably try to ban ammo reloading, repair parts, and make it prohibitively difficult for gunsmiths to operate by making them be licensed and then put a mountain of red tape and expensive license fees in the way. If your paperwork isn’t perfect you’ll go to jail, crap like that.
I remember all the talk of “cop-killer bullets” in the early 1990s. Nothing really new here, just the latest attempt to harass ammo people through laws and regs since yellow journalism didn’t work.
I didn’t cross the fine line there bud, so no I couldn’t. Not for that anyway.
But you can get arrested for saying just about anything in our new FREE society.

How about if I say that this pos is blatantly, in his own words, spouting his desire to be introduced to a tall tree by a short rope ???
Funny how many posters don’t check the source to see if it is satire. You caught a few this time.
