An interesting photo has surfaced (h/t Drudge): That's the Rev. Jeremiah Wright grippin' and grinnin' with President Bill Clinton on September 11th, 1998, at a meeting of various clerics where Clinton gave his "I have sinned" speech following the Lewinsky affair. I guess Rev. Wright didn't consider an invitation to the White House as "being treated the same way Clinton treated Lewinsky", to quote the good Reverend.
The same day this photo popped up, the story leaked out that the Clintons are shopping the Rev. Wright controversy around to superdelegates in the hopes of getting them to abandon Obama While most of Hillary Clinton's backers have refused to say anything publicly about Barack Obama's relationship with his fiery former pastor, privately top advisers have reportedly "spent recent days making the case to wavering superdelegates that Mr. Obama's association with Mr. Wright would doom their party in the general election."
That report was carried in the closing paragraphs of a New York Times story today. The Clinton camp refuses to either confirm or deny it.
Maybe Clinton is using Wright the way he used to use Lewinsky.
Rove, you magnificent bastard.
Hillary and Obama are both toast. Wrights nonsense is anti-American, and it reminds voters that so are most national Democrat politicians.
Funny now to ponder all the ninnies on this board who only a month ago didnt think a former POW could beat either one of them.
This is a great (Hillary) tactic...taunt Wright out of hiding and to speak out in public again.
bttt
The Clintons and their “win at all costs” make any remarks this pastor says pale in comparison!
What happened to Oprah? Where did she go?
