Ya blew it for me. Oh well, such is life.
Agree on the book. It's a rough life for conservative politicians, especially here in Western Washington.

The Care and Feeding of Conservative Politicians They tend to be fed on more often then tended.
One of the problems with conservatism is the tendency to accept nothing but perfection in all things and then toss our own over board at the slightest rumor from the other side that they are not quite perfect.
It is truly a wonder that we find any willing to serve.
Politicians should be treated like pets. A firm rap on the nose when they misbehave, a treat and scratch behind the ears when they do well, and protected when the left attacks them.

Besides rain, that grass is struggling to grasp every molecule of Carbon Dioxide it can get to produce
cellulose for its structural material. (n CO
2 + n H
2O = C
6H
10O
5(n) {generic formula for cellulose} + O

-- Gasping for breath, you might say.
We should feed it more. Smell the flowers, but breathe on the grass. (It will return the favor.)

What a remarkable everyday miracle it is to have something that can weave structure out of sunshine, rain, and used breath!
Only God would make a tree!
