Ya blew it for me. Oh well, such is life.

Agree on the book. It's a rough life for conservative politicians, especially here in Western Washington.

They tend to be fed on more often then tended.

One of the problems with conservatism is the tendency to accept nothing but perfection in all things and then toss our own over board at the slightest rumor from the other side that they are not quite perfect.

It is truly a wonder that we find any willing to serve.

Politicians should be treated like pets. A firm rap on the nose when they misbehave, a treat and scratch behind the ears when they do well, and protected when the left attacks them.
