WOW! I have found some really INCREDIBLE information about Pied Piper Pitt courtesy of DUmmie CorpGovActivist who posted it on his BLOG. There is way too much information for me to post it all here but it is definitely of interest to all serious Pittology scholars. Among the many fascinating things you will find there are revelations about Pitt's maternal grandfather and his role in the Chappaquiddick coverup. As a bonus is the Pitt connection to the defense of pedophile priests. Like I said, way too much info to post here so check it out at the CorpGovActivist BLOG. A special fringe benefit from visiting that site is you will be able to read his words of praise for the DUmmie FUnnies:
First, let's establish one thing right off the bat: William Rivers Pitt is a Poseur. He is The Pittseur, in fact. Nor, am I alone in this sentiment, apparently.
(Of especially belly-holding, laugh-out-loud worth, as bitingly brilliant satire goes: check out the author of DummieFunnies, who has Pitt almost perfectly pegged. Whoever that blog's author is, s/he is no Poseur.)
I agree with much of what has been written at DummieFunnies and elsewhere about William Rivers Pitt: Yes, Pitt is the perennial, over-indulged, spoiled manchild. Yes, Pitt is the time-and-again tantrum thrower. Yes, Pitt is (on and on and on we could go).
Okay, CorpGovActivist, I think you have easily earned your Kewpie Doll for your astute observations!

That's an interesting tidbit if true. Wonder if other Pitt relatives post.
Edward B. Hanify '36 of Belmont, Mass., died December 31, 2000. He was a retired partner at Ropes & Gray in Boston. He was a member of President Johnson's National Advisory Council on the Education of Disadvantaged Children and an appointee of President Kennedy to the board of visitors at the U.S. Military Academy. In 1969 Hanify was credited with developing Senator Edward Kennedy's legal strategy in the inquest into the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. He served as director of New England Telephone, AT&T, John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance, State Street Bank, and Boston Edison, and as trustee, secretary, and director of the Kennedy Library Foundation. Hanify was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
OUCH! How much Scotch did that cost?
Well, I read as much of it as I could take. Obviously the man thinks he’s a wordsmith when, in fact, his writing becomes an unintentional parody of his lifestyle.
He does seem to enjoy DUmmie FUnnies, however. And hats off to him for that...at least, he enjoys the posts about Will the Pittster. I wonder, though, how much enjoyment he gets from your other pointed subjects?
Is that Kevin Spacey / KPax at the end of the bar?
Yeah, he's a p!sser, alright...
I'll bet the author of that is Tombstoned...

I am realy looking forward to Pied piper pitt’s reply to all of this. I am expecting another temper tantrum.
Yes- or as Pitt would say, "Kayser f***ing Soze!".
I was taken by the name Hanify, Son Of Erie, a title I think, Ropes and Gray, Rat Law Firm. Not exactly a Yankee company.
His old man was from Decatur, AL, still looking.
Personally, I have no doubts Raven is Pittinski's mom. Even when times were relatively calm over at DU they both acknowledged the relationship. As memory serves, she was soundly thrashed at one point and left in a huff but just like Pittinski, she couldn't stay away.
If I remember correctly, she moved into a log cabin several years ago and Pitt has made references about going to see her at the cabin. I don't remember her being quite as radical or near as prolific as her son so many denizens of DU weren't aware she was Pittinski's mom.
Poor ole Pitt! I don't think he'll ever live long enough for people to forget his "going to Texas" outfit. Just imagine it now. He gets all gussied up where he can have his picture taken and where he can fit into what his perceived notion of how normal people in and around Crawford dress. Of course, then he forgot to dress for the rest of the Crawford experience because the DUmmie wore flip-flops and shorts. He was the perfect feast the fire ants had been waiting on! And feast they did as he noted in his diary while staying in a cool and relatively comfortable hotel room.
Let's face it. Pitt will never be a halfway decent investigative reporter or else he would have known people in that part of Texas don't dress anything like the photo-op picture does and he also would have realized the necessity of a good pair of boots as well as a pair of jeans. He sure did do a heck of a job investigating the conditions he's be facing once he got to Texas. (snicker)
If the heat doesn't get you then the fire ants will.
The carpetbagging maternal ancestress is just as “radical” as the Bostonian Drunkard, but she has a certain elegance, a certain grace, a certain class, to her posting, which disguises that, as compared with the boozy sloppings of her heir.
I noticed the bonfires started on Skins’s island by the carpetbagging maternal ancestress tended to draw few primitives, obviously because of their intellectual content; she was always bringing up issues such as the World Bank or tuberculosis or other serious things, and the primitives weren’t interested.
Sort of like casting pearls before swine.
I always felt sorry for her, and another example, Omaha Steve; they were, and are, always bringing up meat-and-potato issues, eliciting nary a peep from the primitives.
The carpetbagging maternal ancestress was really upset, I recall one time, when the primitives reamed her worthless heir.....but in it all, one sees a sad, forlorn, regretful mother miserable because her son turned out a great deal less than he could have been, and she raised him to be.
You know, I’ve had a few days to absorb and contemplate that work.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, some don’t like it because it’s “too long;” some don’t like it because of the author.
I on the other hand would give it an “A,” due to the thoroughness and care the author took, to back up his contentions, and to explain the “background.”
The only thing that keeps it from being an “A+” is style, but style is subjective.
I think it’s an excellent work; I wish I could write something half as good about the Bostonian Drunkard.
Now, most people who see the Bostonian Drunkard, see him only shallowly, for what he is, a clown, and aren’t too interested in any in-depth examination and analysis (such as the grief I took—just kdding, P-J—when P-J posted my Freudian analysis of the Bostonian Drunkard).
And whether or not the Bostonian Drunkard wishes to believe this, there’s other people who just aren’t interested, aren’t interested at all, in the Bostonian Drunkard.
But for those serious scholars of the Bostonian Drunkard, this has to be the definitive work, and I strongly and enthusiastically suggest it as well worth the read and analysis, to those serious scholars.
He’s posted a Part 2, 3 and 4 up regarding Pitt.
He is very good with his research.
He also started 2 more blogs. One is going to take on Hillary’s guy Penn, called Pennochio. Click on “About Me” and his other blogs are listed at the bottom of page.
In case no one noticed, Fat Che’s “White Rose Society” is going out of business.
Link over in my new digs; I’m still trying to absorb the news.
Apparently Err America doesn’t want Fat Che to profit off of them.
I’m busy most of today (Monday), but off and on I’m going to be reading those three new pieces—two of them are rather short—and then later tonight I’ll critique them.
But one already knows what franksolich has to say; even a cursory quick reading shows this to be more good stuff, well worth one’s while.
The writer does a really good job substantiating his claims.
The link to the Fat Che discussion is on the comment after this one.
ROFL!! I can just imagine some poor guy stuck next to the Magic Man while he rants on and on and on and on....
