Another disturbing facet of McCain's record, and another way in which he will put the screws to conservatives if elected.

I find it difficult to believe that a military man would be against the Second Amendment.

As anyone who has follwed my postings can tell you, I am not a McBOT, and I will not vote for the man but lets n9ot exaggerate.

He has three areas where he is better than the alternative, that would be the WOT, government spending and the 2A.

Taht’s his record, though.

Of course, being Mr. Stariahgt Talk, he’ll now claim otherwise.

I for one am tired of this newfound and rather churlish tendency to scream “gun-grabber” at any slight deviation from “perfection”.

If McCain is a gun-grabber, what word do we have for Barack Obama, who actually does want to take people’s guns away from them.

It’s a miracle that ANY candidate can get the votes of conservatives, except for a few who are completely unelectable, which for some conservatives seems to be the true measure of being a “conservative”.

This nation is in deep do-do with the available trio of candidates for the POTUS. In the final analysis, vote for one, step in dogsh*t, vote for the other, step in catsh*t.

Why? Think of the Fed laws by Johnson, Regan and George H.W. Bush. I’m sure state and local laws have been passed by military vets. The FOP leadership is anti-gun and I assume are vets.

Let me say it straight out: a John McCain Presidency would be far worse than a Barack Obama Presidency.

B-freaking-S. Baldwin's a loon. Just another of the zealots the Left will use to tar all of us with.

Baldwin’s argument, which does have some validity, is that if McCain is president, conservtive Republicans in Congress will roll over for any Big Government policy McCain comes up with, whereas if Obama or Hitlery is president, conservatives and Republicans will be opposing the same policies tooth and nail. McCain could actually get more done to advance Big Government than Obama/Clinton.

"I find it difficult to believe that a military man would be against the Second Amendment."

Take a look at his score from GOA.

After a couple of years of an Obama or Clinton presidency, they probably will.

I’ve heard that freaking argument too many times. Here’s the corrolary: If either Hillary! or Obama! gets elected, we’re just plain dead.

I can stand four years of a weak Republican. Four, or maybe eight, years of a blooming Socialist is the end of the trail.

On what, do you base that assertion??

The Chinese Communists lead by Mao Tse Tung first sandbagged the war against Japan(Iraq), then drove the Nationalists (the pro-freedom governing party of China at the time) onto tiny Formosa in 1949.

They’re still there.

So incidentally is Fidel Castro. After 49 years.

NEVER underestimate the danger, of communism.

A terrible record he has. And as you point out, as a Republican President he would not receive much criticism from other Rs, nor Demorats since his leftist stance suits most of them just fine. He tampered with the lst amndmt w/ McCain-Feingold, and would work to dismantle the 2nd. The appointment of Sullivan is living, stinking proof that Jorge Bush is no conservative and has gone beyond the left if you willl, he only seeks to smash all borders and dissolve our sovereignty to merge us into One World. The writing has been on the wall for a long time and is painfully clear now. Soros, who hates our guts, is McAmnesty’s financier. You may as well vote for the other 2 rats.
