I’ve been thinking about Duncan Hunter’s feisty little press conference the other day and about how much I like the guy and how I wish he was a major contender right now. It’s not too much of a mystery to me that he’s not doing better; he’s more conservative than the average Republican, [snip]
Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein haven’t faced a serious Republican opponent yet. The Governator’s time is winding down. The state is broke and getting creepy in its attempts to establish surveillance over its citizens. The state’s liberal house organ is bleeding readers. California’s not the same place it was when it gave us Ronald Reagan, but things here can swing rightwards now and then and it looks like we might be heading that way. I hope Duncan Hunter is in place to take advantage of that when they do.[snip]

Also, maybe we should start right now, telling the FL GOP that we want Duncan Hunter, a hero who fought for our free speech, to be included in the pre-Florida primary debate.
The Florida GOP killed Terri to protect Republican Judge Greer, et al. I don’t make requests of them except to lower my taxes. The party heads are mostly useless to real conservatives.
The national political conversation will echo through FAU in January 2008. The University will host the Republican presidential candidates on Thursday, Jan. 24 and the Democratic presidential candidates on Sunday, Jan. 27 in televised debates sponsored by Leadership Florida, the Florida Press Association and Florida Public Broadcasting Service, Inc.

I’m an indy. I’ll vote re: tax relief. There’s no Duncan in Fox’s debate right now so whose idea was that? I’ll help Duncan but I can’t vote pubbie. I left when they started acting like democrats. I forward emails and bttt for Duncan but the GOP left me. The big election, I will vote.
