The Hunter pinglist was on Pissant’s FR page - anyone could access it.

I agree!
He was nasty to me a couple of weeks ago but I'd still hate to see him gone.

Some are now trying to spin it as a "pissant's revenge" action They aren't reading the e-mail closely.I admit that when I first read the freepmail from Im4Fred that I didn't read it very closely. I was angry because he was implying that the website released our names to someone who was shilling for a candidate. I was angry that he was calling Hunter a socialist and a Rhino and that he implied the website owners were banning support of Hunter and Romney. I did not follow the link to the banning of pissant post.
When I read it more closely it brings up a lot of questions. It doesn't seem like a real call for donations to Thompson anymore. I now think it was designed to make people angry at the website owner and Thompson supporters.

I now think it was designed to make people angry at the website owner and Thompson supporters ..that's strange, because I didn't get that impression at all
I still vote for a Paul supporter or some DU troll--that just isn't pissant's style.

“Pissant would NOT have had access to Fred ping lists.”
So we know it wasn’t Pissant.

I’m not saying it came from pissant. It could easily have come from a troll whose sole motive was to stir the pot and cause dissension on the website, but I can understand why some people think it could be pissant only because pissant was banned/suspended right before the mass freepmail was sent out.

“I don’t remember “Im4Fred” ever posting on forum before seeing that Freepmail either.”
I don’t remember the name, either, and it sounds like one of those DU or MoveOn.org types. They are a vindictive bunch, on the whole, imo.

The decision is between candidate "A" and candidate "B".
Very good humblegummer, you understand the basics.
If you insist on supporting candidate "C", who isn't in the contest, then you are not a part of the decision making process.
First of all, you are equating 'support' with casting your VOTE, which are two different things. In 1976 for example, Republicans who supported Ronald Reagan generally held their nose and voted for the party's nominee (Gerald Ford, who was a classic Rockefeller Republican, you know, the kind that Rudy-Toody wants to emulate), but those Republicans did NOT waver in their SUPPORT of Reagan, and that is why 4 years later, Reagan not only received the GOP nomination, he along with 44 States flushed the Buffoon from Plains out of the White House once and for all. He couldn't have done it if all of those Republicans who went to the mat for him in '76 had meekly sighed and said "well, guess we can't support Ronnie anymore." C'mon man, think about this a minute and maybe you'll get it?
Your vote and support has gone into the trash.
If you are constrained by the simpleton's notion that if you vote for a candidate, that all of your support MUST likewise go to that candidate, then you might be on to something. But that isn't the case.
I have typed this slowly in hopes that you can comprehend it.
No need to type slowly, your one-dimensional thinking is easily understood.

I now think it was designed to make people angry at the website owner and Thompson supporters. I would have to say after having read all of the posts, and I received the email as well, this most likely was the intent of the email. Astute observation on your part... Politics is a passionate thingy....one cannot be involved (fully) without being passionate. Pissant was passionate. I applaud passion. Passion makes winners, not whiners.
