Yesterday (Monday) Andrea received a call from an inspector with the New York Department of Food and Markets in Albany that he planned to come by the farm for a special inspection, based on a complaint made to the departments Division of Milk Control and Dairy Services.
Andrea couldnt imagine who might have complained, and what the complaint might have been about.

What happens when a farmer sets some rules for the agriculture inspectors? Like making a video recording of the happening. Requiring the inspector to fill out a form. Learning the reasons for the inspection. The inspectors aren't pleased.

Someone had posted a Civil Servant Questionnaire here on FR but I can’t find it. Sounds like it serves its purpose.

Andrea couldnt imagine who might have complained, and what the complaint might have been about. Maybe it's "confidential" because it never existed...

THE PUBLIC SERVANT QUESTIONNAIRE
Key Points:
An American does not have to speak with a government agent unless the citizen has been arrested.
Americans have a right to privacy, to be left alone.
The PRIVACY ACT OF 1974 (Public Law 93-579), empowers citizens to require full, written disclosure from a government official who seeks information.
You may insist on complete disclosure as a precondition to speaking with any government official.
