Well, give us all a call when Hunter stops pretending to be an opponent and starts acting like he’s actually running for something.

The one thing about Hunter, I haven’t heard him flip-flop on illegal immigration.

And, doesn’t Mitt want Universal healthcare? That’s a no-no on my books.

For the seven days ending October 21, 2007 show that Rudy Giuliani earns 25% of the vote while Fred Thompson attracts 19%. Mitt Romney is at 15%, John McCain is the favorite for 12% and Mike Huckabee is at 8%. Ron Paul is at 2%, Tom Tancredo at 1% and Duncan Hunter’s support rounds up to 1%. Seventeen percent (17%) are undecided (review history of weekly results). Sam Brownback was included as a candidate for the first four days of the poll, but not the final three days. His support, less than 1% of the full week’s total, was added to the undecided total.

It’s about time! I look for the supporters of other candidates to start calling for Duncan to bow out. They are getting nervous and they are discovering a NE flip-flopper and a moderate Senator actor they rolled out of mothballs just don’t look quite so promising standing next to a real conservative who has done the things they can only talk about.

Hunter is the kind of candidate I know I’ll never have to apologize for.

The media isn't covering Duncan.

They are covering Fred.

And where was Duncan for the Presidents visit? It is his area as representative burning to the ground isn't it?

Who is running his campaign to miss an opportunity like that?

It would be nice of Hunter (and vice versa) to have a good word put in for Tom Tancredo on this, too, as a gentlemanly comment. Those guys are BOTH the real deal. The rest are phonies as far as I am concerned and I dont trust them with their new “conversions”.

Brownback is definitely ‘soliciting’ Giuliani for a job!

Road to Des Moines Conversions on Immigration (Hunter Press release)

I'm glad Hunter is also calling attention to this, but gotta give credit for the "Road to Des Moines" quip to Tancredo in the....3rd, I think, debate.

I got a couple of conversions tonight. A union member and his wife.

I went to a friend’s house and he said he was considering Thompson. I kicked his daughter off the computer and dug up voting records and past comments for Hunter and Thompson. My friend says that he’ll probably vote for Hunter.

Fortunately my friend doesn’t care how the cool kids are voting.
