On February 6th 2008, Americans will turn on their televisions, open up newspapers, and/or turn on the radio to discover that their choices for the 2008 election will be Hillary Clinton and Rudolph Giuliani. A few hours later, James Dobson or Randy Thomasson of “Focus on the Family,” and “Save California,” respectively will announce their plan to run for president, under the Christian Freedom Party, or the so-called Constitution party. Social Conservatives and Liberals alike will orgasm simultaneously at the moment of this event. Come November 8th 2008 Hillary will win the election, with 46% of the popular vote, Giuliani will receive 44% of the vote and Dodson with 8% of the vote. While the popular vote does not determine the outcome of the election, Political Scientists and political analysis will quickly point out that had Dodson not run Giuliani would have won the Electoral College. Dodson, who knew very well that he was not going to win, will include in his defeat speech an arrogant, smug, and self-serving remark, which will go something to the effect, “I ran to show the Republican Party, that by not address and vocally condemning gay marriage, and abortion, they can not win an election, I was successful. If the Republican Party will not address these issues, the most important issues facing America, we the righteous social and true conservatives would rather see a Democrat in office. May this persuade the Republicans to once again be promoters of pro-family, pro-Christian ideology.” At this moment, Giuliani will be observed laughing hysterically at this speech. Why? Because the social conservatives, by the hands of their self-proclaimed leader, will have killed themselves. Never again will this vile, redneck inbreed portion of the republican party matter, and after four to eight years of Hillary the Republican Party, will emerge more popular, better, and stronger then ever before due to the fact that they can focus on the economy, immigration, and security, without having to placate to the social conservatives. The Supreme Court of the United States of America has six justices over the age of 65, the retiring age in the US. While the SCOUS does not have political parties it is generally accepted that there is a right wing and a left wing of the court. Here is list of the six justices, their age, and their political ideology.

The justices most likely to retire are Stevens, Scalia, and Kennedy. Hilary as president will replace Stevens with another liberal, which will maintain the balance of power, however if Scalia and Kennedy retire or die, they too will be replaced with liberals. The current balance of power is five conservatives to four liberals, however after Hillary is done, the balance would be five liberals to four conservatives. With the exception of illegal immigration, most fiscal or mainstream republicans will not be affected. However at that moment, social conservatives will no longer matter or exist. With a democratic legislative branch, Hillary will overturn most of the security, economic, and tax laws put in place by Bush II, taxes will be increased on the middle class, the nation will be come less secure, and the US will once again be at risk for attack. In addition she will be able to overturn the ban on third trimester abortions, she and the democrats will be successful in prohibiting pro-life groups from protesting in front of Planned Parenthood, she will outlaw restrictions on minors receiving abortions and she will allocate more fund to free abortions. While mainstream conservatives will suffer great loses, everything that the social conservatives have gain in terms of the pro-life movement will have been lost. However, abortion at any time can once again become illegal, thus while the SCOUTS was able to make abortion legal in 1973, at any moment it can be made illegal because an abortion is a one time single event. However the other issue, which social conservatives obsess about, gay marriage is not, marriage has perpetual and maintaining rights, meaning once you grant them it will be very difficult to legally strip them away, once gay marriage become legal it will never again become illegal again. Most if not all social issues facing America have been resolved via the SCOTUS, at some point either during or after the Hillary administration, the issue of gay marriage will reach the SCOTUS, having a liberal control court will mean that all restrictions and bans on gay marriage, will be immediately outlawed under the Fourteenth Amendment, or at least a liberal interpretation of the amendment. The social conservatives will have lost everything, the advancements of the pro-life movement of the past 34 years, and gay marriage. They will no longer matter to anyone, and ironically it will be their own fault. Let’s rewind “that great clock” back to February 6th 2008, Dodson or Thomasson does not run for the presidency. Though a very “bloody’” and intense campaign Giuliani, wins the election, on November 8th 2008, Huffington post readers and liberal democrats scream that he stole the election, but he will be the next president. Being a social liberal, and a fiscal and security conservative he will appease many republicans and several democrats, and will bring a since of healing to the greatly divided nation. He will appoint moderate to moderate conservatives to the Supreme Court, who will not grant marriage to homosexuals. Giuliani might create a national domestic partnership system to homosexual couples, but that is unclear. The pro-life movement will not advance, but it remain stable. In other words, the social conservatives will still matter, they will still exist, and the republicans will be forced to placate to the inbreed rednecks once again. The nation will be safe, people will have money in their pockets, and this current bout of partisan ship will to some degree be healed. On 2016, after the Hillary presidency, a Republican candidate, focused solely on security, economics, low taxation and the issue of illegal immigration will be elected as president, the legislative branch will be controlled by like-minded Republicans. Slowly but surely the damages made by the Hillary administration will be undone, and the nation will once again be safe, wealthy, and prosperous. Republicans will be more popular then ever, and the likes of James Dobson or Randy Thomasson and the Constitution party, will be a distance amusing chapter of American history much like the Dixie-crats. The two social debates facing the nation today will be resolved and the nation will be secure and fiscally conservative. The moral? In the end social conservatives, will have lost everything by allowing Hillary to win the election, by splitting the Republican vote. While the Hillary administration will be hard on mainstream Republicans, in the end due to Hillary’s socialistic ideas, the mainstream Republicans will be more powerful then ever before. If Giuliani wins the social conservative movement, will be placed on hold for eight years but will still exist and matter. The Republican Party will not have changed much in 2016, but at least from 2008-2016, the nation will be secure, safe, and people will have a dollar in their pocket. In other words, while the Hillary administration will be hard on mainstream Republicans like my self, it will truly be killer for social conservatives. Are social conservatives truly willing to kill themselves in order to prevent Giuliani, from becoming president? We (mainstream republicans) can rough out the Hillary years, and emerge stronger then ever, because we will no longer have to placate to the like of social conservatives. The future of the Republican Party and of social conservatives lies solely in their hands. Make it a Hillary president or not the choice is theirs!
