Flippers, Floppers & Frauds vs. Duncan Hunter – Part 1
News Which Cannot Lose Blog ^ | 8-28-07 | Alexander J. Madison

The bottom line is this. If Americans want a leader who does not attempt to hide behind the skirt of federalism, does not have to explain why he flipped and flopped like a beached cutthroat trout, and who has always understood that the unalienable right to life comes from our creator and not state politicians or courts, then Duncan Hunter is the only choice...

“If Hunter is so confident in his ability to win he should resign his House seat and campaign full-time.”

Number one, he was elected by the people to serve in Washington for two yrs. He is fulfilling that obligation. The man knows how to work and keeps his word.

Number two, he isn’t running for re-election. He is giving up his seat. None of the other current elected officials running for president are willing to give up their seats. For Duncan Hunter it is all or nothing. He is committed. You should commend him for that.

“He’ll resign as soon as his son wins his seat.”

How do you resign from a seat you aren’t running for?

Did they elect him to serve part-time? Perhaps he is fulfilling his obligation to serve another 2 years but is he effectively representing the people that put him in that office full-time? Don't get me wrong, I think any elected official should resign if they are running for another office other than the one they hold.

Hunter keeps those connotations at the end of his bayonet.

As per his congressional releases of the past 90 days, yes. Do you have any links saying otherwise?

Do you honestly think he is giving 100% effort to his representative obligations? Do you honestly think that the stresses of being a representative AND running a presidential campaign do not effect him?

Would your boss give you time off to hunt for another job?

He’s getting the work done of representing his district and also making sure our military has a strong voice on the House Armed Services committee. Are you aware of the importance of the work Duncan Hunter does for our military? I would rather have him continue working on that committee up to the time he is elected president. We need him there.

Hunter is just another professional politician that happens to be conservative. After 20 plus years don’t you think he’s “done enough”? And YES, I do have a disdain for professional politicians. Unfortunately, the House of Representatives is now the House of Professional Politicians and no longer the House of the People. Individuals that serve term after term after term are normally very self-serving individuals. Hunter has a disregard for our forefather idea of a citizens legislature.

No one can ever have enough conservative politicians with a record to back it.

? Do you know anything about Duncan Hunter? Do some research and find out what kind of a man he is and then maybe we can talk.

There are good and bad people in and out of government. Would you rather that a good man like Hunter limit his terms so the Rangels and Pelosis, etc can wholly own the congress?

We don’t need to clear cut the institutions of government, we just need to do some serious pruning.

Hunter along with the rest of the second tier candidates stand no chance at becoming president. Why not get behind a conservative that can win. Vote for Fred.
