“If Hunter is so confident in his ability to win he should resign his House seat and campaign full-time.”

Number one, he was elected by the people to serve in Washington for two yrs. He is fulfilling that obligation. The man knows how to work and keeps his word.

Number two, he isn’t running for re-election. He is giving up his seat. None of the other current elected officials running for president are willing to give up their seats. For Duncan Hunter it is all or nothing. He is committed. You should commend him for that.

Did they elect him to serve part-time? Perhaps he is fulfilling his obligation to serve another 2 years but is he effectively representing the people that put him in that office full-time? Don't get me wrong, I think any elected official should resign if they are running for another office other than the one they hold.
