We are holding Rudy and Mitt to the fire about their past on abortion. Lets not forget Fred Thompson.

A very strong statement from Fred Thompson when he was running for congress.
Who cares what he said? What he said back then is irrelevant. Even Ted Kennedy made pro-life statements. Did it influence his voting record and current support of abortion rights later on?
Thompson is firmly pro-life. There is no debate here. This isn't worth losing your FR membership over.

Because his past statements were not a full endorsement of abortion rights although they are ambiguous and the anti-Fred folks are interpreting them as such. Anyway, those statements are voided considering his voting record and current statements on abortion.

The statements ARE pro-abortion. There is no way for them to be construed otherwise.
Now I can see that you are trying really hard to get me banned or something, but how can you keep accusing me of lying about his record? I have never claimed that he has a pro-choice voting record, I only claimed that he made pro-choice statements in the past, which is true.
It doesn't take being a fredbot to see the disarray in your postings via single issue stance when it comes to the elections for POTUS.
You don't want to talk about Fred's current stance on abortion, you'd rather focus on the ambiguous, libertarian statements Fred made on abortion back in 1994, which still represented the mainstream of the pro-life movement back then.
