I can think of several WAckos over there who definitely belong in a padded cell!

I can think of five or six without breaking a sweat.

..as the field thins over the next few months and DH gets more than 5 minutes to speak to the world, things can change quickly...

If FDT jumps in, so be it--but until DH says quit, I am not quitting...

I agree. The problem Hunter faces is that the amount of money a candidate gets is related to perceived name recognition. As it stands right now, Hunter’s doesn’t have enough.

However, all it takes is one event to turn the corner. Four years ago, John sKerry was having a horrible time raising money (and he had to revert to highly questionable “loans” from himself), but then as soon as Dean went psycho, the money poured in to sKerry. The only candidate who is not necessarily affected by this is Romney, he is worth somewhere in the $500 million range (and it’s HIS money), so he could afford to self-fund a campaign if he needed to.

I can hardly imagine which ones you might be referring to.

Oh, I’ll bet you can. I think I had words with all of them.

I think I had words with all of them.

There were several words that I wanted to say to all of them, but I didn't think that any of them were worth getting suspended over.

It was a fine line at times.

it may be a good idea to think of Salt River as a padded cell

What an apt analogy. I will definitely think of it as a padded cell from now on.

Can't defend themselves because they departed voluntarily. Sell your spin to idiots, everyone here knows the truth of the matter.

That is not quite the truth, I saw one poster banned for simply making the statement that people on the anti-Rudy thread appeared to be paranoid.

Do you hear that crunching sound? It’s all the WAers’ teeth grinding in unison.

Schadenfreude!!

Not entirely true, I am a Fred supporter and I like to visit both sites.

Freudenschide, baby!

The saddest part of this, is that we're supposed to be on the same side! We're supposed to be lined up against Her Thighness and Barak Hussein Obama. Instead, we're fighting amongst ourselves. THAT is the shame of this entire absurdity.

It is a crying shame that just might cost us the White House.

I am speaking of several specific virulent people who opined for months that Fred wouldn’t get in and he was a stalking horse for McCain, and one in particular who cited InTrade as the main indicator of electability.

Are you also bashing FR in the “Salt River”?

I guess no more than you are bashing WA on the FR.

That really wasn't my best answer that I can give. I guess you would call it bashing, but I don't. I have stated that I was sad at the apparent lack of freedom to state one's thoughts in FR, at least that is if you happen to disagree with JimRob's position.

I have been a member of FR since 2002, and a lurker long before that, I can't begin to count the number of great discusstions that I have had and the great friendships that I have made on this forum. But recently on this great forum that I have begun to feel that I was not totally free to express my opinion.

It is totally not true that WA is nothing but a site to promote Rudy, nothing could be further from the case. There are threads over there supporting all of the candidates.

I am a Republican and I will vote for the nominee of my party, if it is Rudy, so be it. I pray that it will be Fred Thompson, I really feel in my heart that Fred can win.

I suspect you will use my post to get me banned, if so, so be it. I have had a great time here, but I guess it is time to move on....besides, LOL, I smell the ozone and I hear the Viking Kitties a comin'

Ta...ta....

Finally someone acknowledges that MadmanIvan's WAcko site is using closed threads for anti-FReeping.

See, when FReepers bash liberal, anti-FReeper sites like the DUmmies and WAckos we are open about it (actually the DUmmies are open too, which should give the WAckos pause). And most importantly, we aren't members of the WAckos.

Please provide a link.
This isn't Salt River, where hyperbole reigns unchallenged.

It was probably profanity laced and made the statement that if Roody wasn’t the nominated that Hitlery was assured of winning.

The WAckos are just like any other liberals, they don’t think they need to provide evidence to back-up their accusations.
