I had not seen that, either.

Jim Robinson also found it “interesting.”

How about Thompson/Guiliani...with Gui as VP.

I would be okay with that, and that would be unbeatable.

NO F-ING WAY.

NO LIBERAL (gun-grabbing, abortion-supporting) RINOS... PERIOD.

Posted by Howlin to EternalVigilance On Smoky Backroom 02/03/2007 12:48:29 AM EST · 822 of 1,544 The transformation of the GOP into Democrat Party Lite? It's not going to be DNC Lite; it's going to be a more moderate conservative party though; you all have had your foot on our necks for too long. This country has to be governed in the middle; the world has moved on from the 50's. The Contract with America will unite this party again. But we're not going to let you make abortion and guns the big issues this time around.

..she and I always got along, but this is a doggone smoking gun--these aren't the words of a conservative...

Well, Howlin and I rarely got along, although I think she did a fantastic job with the Duke lacrosse fiasco. However, I hadn’t been here very long before I realized that she and her band of [insert derogatory term] were not, never had been and probably never would be conservatives.

The great thing about WA is that I can head over there every three or four days, and in about 30 minutes read every post made to the site since my last visit.

Exactly as FreeRepublic was the first year it came online.

Salt River is private because Wideawakes doesn't want to be known as an anti-FR site

Too late.
There's been enough posted publically, and quickly whisked away, to refute that. Not to mention the perpetual referral to FR as "TOS" (the other site).

Try as he might, MadIvan will never get those goose feathers back in the pillow.
